ok yes 4 strokes do have power but not as much as a nornal 800. so if you turbo both the 800 will still have more hp

i love how people think that just because a 4 stroke has 15-20 less hp, that it will not compete... the torque that they make and the broadness of the power band makes up for the less hp... and once you turbo a 4 stroke nothing will touch it with a good enough rider

4 strokes have good lower end torque but they do drop off up higher, i rode a apex with out turbo the thing had good torque but just bogged once you started going so pple turbo them thigns to make them Very competitive,

1999 rmk is def a dumb ass. he has no knowledge of turbo period. a mxz 440 turbo and properly tuned will pull over 200 hp....stupid people everywhere.yeah....put a turbo on a 2 stroke also...just incase you didnt know that either....sit down KID!

You do not need a turbo to run one with an 800. But it would require some work. The only 800 that will run with these sleds, are 800's with turbo's. Then its still a little lopsided...

some say you have to turbo the 4's to make them as good as the 800's... this may be so but 4's on boost sound FUCKING AMAZING. and i bet they beat a lot of 800's. so go shove a big one, all you two strokers.

dude all of the 4-strokes are 1000cc+ and the nytro stock only has 130hp and a rev xp has close to 150 with a huge weight difference. you absolutely have to turbo a four stroke to get anywhere with them.

i disagree with that. 130hp yes. but you also have to look at the track. even a 146 rev has more track on the ground than a 153 nytro. the 2 1/2 " lugs make it climb alot better the nytro on has 2 1/4. you put the same track on there and see if there is that much different. the 163" rev has the same track on the ground as a 174" track. thats a big difference

Your Retarded man I Love Two Strokes and I know they have a Load of Torque and HP, and are the most reliable 4 Stokes out there. The Z1 is Claimed to be Fastest by Arctic Cat but in a actual race stock for stock against a Mach 1000 the Z1 would get it's ass handed to it. You think the Yamahas are heavy you should see the actual weight of your TANK?

If you take a 150hp base machine and add 15lbs of compressed air, what hp does that machine have? Then take a loss of say 3% at altitude, you still have over that 200 hp at 10,000'!

@Jsccorp i agree 100% a yamaha will make that kinda power no problem. but. with my 600 pro xr with just a few bolt on's, i can take an rx1 right till 90 when i top out. so they're fast as hell i'll give it to them but there is some 2 smokes that will run with them...
