LMAO @ carnypimp - kid are u high? glhs have a lot of shit on a camaro. please. my buddies glh, not glhs but glh smoked the hell out of my 85 iroc z28. his shelb was stock, my camaro was runnin dual exhaust, detroit lockers, 4 barrel holly carb. 350 4bolt main had the 700r4 tranny. clean as hell. so please kid. know what your talking about.

It was an abuser, It Goes Like Hell Som'more. It spanked all of the competition from those times, being one of the fastest cars of it's time, 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, killing the V8 competitors. @firelizard007 well i would be on your side but, for one my dad owns a Shelby charger(did own), and GLHS omni, and a CSX, plus me and my twin own a shelby dodge chager, and i own a GLH, trust me 2.2 and 2.4L is hardly any difference, so little, saying it as a point to further your arguemnt was pointless. and btw i like your 240sx,but i have seen these cars beat anything on the road, just recently a guy broke a recurd of 230 mph in that very same car.

Stock they push about 245-250lbs on torque and I've seen turbo 4cyls push 130lbs, so yeah, they can have a BIG difference and yeah, I wouldn't know anything from a line of mechanics and helping to build a car for stock racing. MY particular 4cyl doesnt push 130lbs of torque stock none turbo it does almost 160 im not talking bout no VTAAK!! lol but whatever you still dont get that im not dissing the car i like em too just YOU think they are unbeatable by anything. hope we can arrange a lil race next year when i get my motor built would be fun ;)

@carnypimp Incorrect. 85 IROC's had the LB9 TPI 305 rated at 215 Horsepower, the LG4 305, and the L69, with the LG4 only being rated at 155 Horsepower. Same options for 1986. Finally in 1987 they offered the 305.

That guy talking about his Camaro was talking monkey smack. He isn't even making enough power to bother a 2 bolt main. Regardless, he's probably never pulled the oil pan to even see if it was a 4 bolt. LOL. TPI's practically are truck motors. They run out of breath after 5K RPM.

No, I'm not. I see many more Porsches on the street. I'm saying, depending on the model, I may very well "want" the GLHS, more than a run of the mill german import. Of course if it was an $80k car, I would take the Porsche, sell it and buy a GLHS and a lesser Porsche to impress the impressible . They only made a handful of them, making them "coveted".

Of course there are some very very very "coveted" Porsches, I just don't know which car was in this video. Maybe it was a true collectible.
