  • Nice build. with a forget set of rods, piston, and good arp fasteners, you could put down around  1000rwhp on some good fuel. :) I love how mild Turbo builds sound till you step in it.

  • the 6.0 models had the cutout for the dual exhaust (as does the one in this vid) the LS1 only had the left side cutout for the single left side outlet

    Dual exhaust rear facia with only one pipe comming out looks bad...but other than that, nice car. Must be a blast. have fun.

  • the bigger the turbo the less boost u need to make the same or more power as a littler turbo at higher boost. use ur head man! needs a goddamn air filter though. why take something that spins 75,000rpm and destroy it with dust and dirt.

  • you need to learn something about turbos. more flow does not mean more pressure, higher pressure does not always mean more flow. at some point you are just making hot air not power. please go to a reputable site like garrett research and lean before you speak.

  • factory turbo cars? wooo impressive. so you work on shit that is already been engineered, hows that qualify you as anything but a parts swapper. go back to ur vdub dealership. oohhh programmers the end all be all of tuning. bitch our cars run stand alone ems systems, turbo systems that we design and fabricate. they start out at about 700hp and run upwards of 1200hp...anything over 1000 is nearly impossible to dyno accurately, so we dont worry about "honest" power numbers.

  • WRONG the wastegates on BMW's are electronically limited on the N54 to 8.8psi these modify values not o2 that would modify fuel pressures not power. you would actually replace a prom chip not rom. there are also eprom, and eeprom which can be erased in different ways. NO CURRENT vehicle uses EPROM

  • uhm damn your dumb, changing the boost setting has shit to do with changing the fueling from the ecu. if u crank up the boost the ecu will only do what it is preprogrammed to. and rom and prom is the same shit you ignorant fuck. its just refered to as rom tuning. reguardless the n54 is FAR from a high performance vehicle. those little turbos dont offer much in the way of power. go back to your little forum and shut the fuck up.

  • look at the linear torque curve genius. and ROM(read only memory) is not the SAME as PROM(programmable read only memory) also i am not on ANY forums i have hands on training on this subject and people on forums are generally ignorant and stubborn much like you.

  • boost77071 is correct, those are the factory taillights for an '06 GTO (I have an '04 GTO that was built by the same shop this car was, and where this was filmed) I know the owner personally, the transmission that's in my car right now (TH-400) actually came out of the car in this video. And the intercooler is needed for gas-burning turbo vehicles. Diesel and alcohol don't need them.

    And yes boost, he frequents HMP although mainly with his pro-street and pro-outlaw cars. He lives in Houston
