  • What's with all the f***ing clicking??? Annoying!

  • Hello!

Can you clear up a bit of misunderstanding on my part?

It was unclear watching the video if any data was actually driving the fourth axis.

Would I be correct in assuming the machinist must fixture the material and rotate the block after each process or.....is fourth axis data available to rotate the model between centers?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @Navigator777777, there is no 4th axis data, so in this instance your process is correct.

    Hope this helps.

  • @Vectric

    Thank you!

    That is clear.

    Let me ask another question.

If material was chucked up between centers on a 4 axis cnc or rotary, and the operator had manual control over the 4th axis, this would then be the optimum use of Cut 3D, would it not?

The top, right hand side, bottom and left hand side could be roughed and then the process repeated with the ball mill of the users choice with no more than two revolutions of the rotary.

    Am I tracking?

  • Nice video! Could you put up a video on some recommended tips and techniques/jigs/etc on getting the model aligned properly for each side, so they all meet up?

  • Thanks men ,nice example!!

    best regards
