all i can say is a handfull of employees at my shop do all the work and the rest just fuck off and waste time . the foreman both are to lazy to get them motivated so they take the easy way out and just let the guys like me who are proud of doing good quality work do all the work. so now what everywhere is the same ole shit. great vids

how true!! reminds me of my last job. i worked in a manufacturing plant running 2 cnc machines seems liek people that had been there forever did nothing and alot of the people that hadn't been there very long didn't care and whined about what they had to do, as if they weren't getting paid to work or something. i worked on 2nd shift and would get out several orders a night 1st and 3rd would get like half an order. when layoffs came i got the axe and they kept their jobs. what a fucking joke?

I work at an assembly plant, and while im standing up all day, feet sore, lower back aching, calloused hands and sweating. i usually see younger people who work in the office where its cozy and the money is easy come out onto the factory floor because their bored. it just makes me wanna BEAT their ass!

You mentioned again about trade schools being a fucking joke. I will say again sir. No shop will hire you without any education. Those days of apprenticship are gone my friend i have looked. Some of those places are a big joke but i guess just take what you get from them and hone out your career elseware. Sometimes employees suck. But we all want health ins and the good pay. Its how we can get the good life. No one said you didnt half to work for that, but startin out at 12 bucks an hour

Shit,my friend peter, i just graduated Texas State Technical College in Waco,(used to be T.S.T.I. till the mid 90"s i think) and i was one of those stoner students that knocked up a chick and had to work for minimum wage to support my family, But now, i can't even do that. I made the mistake of acting like a bad ass and burnt a car for a "buddy" of mine when i was 19, now i cant even get a interview with a real shop. A 2nd deg felony follows me everywhere i go. Someday ill get a chance though...

i started working to get money when i was 7 went to a golf corse and fished out golf balls 4 for a buck made over 60.00 in less then 3hrs lol think of all the candy that would get a seven year old back in the 80s

There are many reasons for this problem. I agree that the kids have too much and have it too easy. I worked as a kid to make money and wasn't ashamed to do a job where I got dirty. I wanted to be a mechanic and then an engineer and I worked and did what I had to do to reach my goals. Today, kids are told you don't want a job where you get dirty, getting dirty is for losers. Give me an office job wnere I just make money easy and quick.. This country is in big trouble.

Man i totally agree with you, I'm 16 and a lot of people at my school are like that they don't want to get dirty to get a paycheck. For me I'll do just about anything to get some sort of income and maybe even volunteer. My opinion is that people's attitude toward working has been at least 1 reason for this economic problem

what is different from this depression and the one in the 1930's? I 1930 we still had factories and people to work..Now the factories are in China and everyone wants fast easy money. This crap about school and no kid left behind. Some kids need to be left behind and make an honest living. Not everyone wants school..
