I miss Taize too....was there only for two days...and out of pure luck....we met a pelgrim who decided God had sent us on his path to save us from killing ourselves in the alps as we did not know how to drive our manual car :) (yes, we were 18 and thought we owned the world...).... It was one of the best moments of my life, and though I was not at the time very christian myself, it brought me a peace of mind nothing in this world could give you.

I went to Taize in 1985, 86 and 2003. Watching this video brought back so many wonderful memories. It is so heartening to see the Taize community still thriving despite the tragic death of Brother Roger. It is an amazing place and you have done such a great job in capturing its joyful atmosphere.Thanks!

An extraordinary place indeed. First went there in summer 1995 aged 17, and after a 5 year absence shall be accompanying a small group from Birmingham Catholic Archdiocese, UK, in August this year.

I understand, it's quite hard to leave your friends you met in taizé but you can talk with them even if you are not in taizé! Last week I spent 2 days with a friend I met in taizé that I had not seen for 1 year! Trust me it's magical! that one of the reasons why taizé is such a wnderfu place!
