With all respect to the relevance of the subject being discussed, I understand the title "why it is important to read the Quran in a language you understand." to be INCORRECT. Qur'aan is ONLY in ARABIC and NOT in any other language, in any sense whatsoever. Translations or more correctly Translations of the Meaning is simply an aid to developing a relationship with the Qur'aan BUT cannot replace ARABIC text of the Qur'aan. People should be encouraged read translations and continue ARABIC reading
