@GetToTheMaX in Europe it is illegal to keep them as pets, as it should be all over the world. They are wild animals and it is cruel to remove them from their natural habitats, plus they are nocturnal and live in deserts in parts of Africa and of Asia in which the daytime is really hot and night is quite cool, they need to hop around and cover a few miles a day, in a household they would not be able to do so, if you think they are cute why would you want to harm them by having them as pets?

@GetToTheMaX as I wrote, it is not how capable you are of providing them with your time. First of all I don't suppose you live in the desert, which is their natural climate and it is very particular. Second I expect that you would keep them in a cage, am I wrong? If I'm right then no matter how big the cage is it would not be better than their home. Third how do you know that they would be happier with you than in their world? Fourth in Europe it is illegal to keep them as pets.

@Jsandholdt no I'm not. Because those animals are highly adaptable to different climates and have habits similar to humans (sleep at night, awake at day). Especially dogs, if treated well benefit from human companionship and are not likely to lead good lives in the wild. I am talking about wild animals such as the jeroba who lives in the desert! if you moved one of these animals to europe where the climate is so different and try to keep it awake for enterainment in the day it would suffer
