smaller res than running tri screen on a nicer looking led screen D: or u can get tiny bezzeled lcd's that look nicer too. yet this costs like $7000 and u can get 3 22" 1080p screens for like £500 ? and u dont need special drivers.. if ur gunne run this screen ur gpu probbly supports 3 lol.. but then again... i still want one XD ahahaha
This was fail, thats why it was never released right? Anyway anyone who buys computers from companies is a noob :P Best thing is build it yourself.. cheaper and faster..
@berindea lol no your right, you can't but I meant its fail cuz it never got released, and also probably far too expensive.. Better off with Eyefinity..
i'm guessing they have several small projectors inside of it judging by the size of the back of it. a good way to make one of these monitors is with OLEDs which are very vibrant and are flexible screens which you can easily bend
and no insult but it'd absolutely smash your 24" monitor detail-wise as well
anyway the point of it was to replace having 3 monitors hugged up next to each-other, for people like you or me that seems stupid to play with 3 monitors. I assume = P
-the thing that will always keep alot from even considering this large display is the price
@strgzr53 this is the only good thing they have made... alienware sells shit for $2000+ when a certified guy can make the same for $800-$1000... all they do is a little overclocking and the customer cases... big deal... oh and they save the hassle of getting the parts and stuff... but nothing better than a custom built computer that you buy the parts for... way cheaper and it is 90% of the time better...
how the fuck can it simulate peripheral vision? you would have to be at a distance where the screen curves PAST your field of vision which means either you would have to be super close to the screen, or they would have to extend that monito by another 40 inches, so that you could sit at a logical distance away from the monitor. I don't think this would really give you a feeling of having peripheral vision.
imagine, your actual eyes not showing you 3 feet on either side, and thats this monitor.

Looks like a Cinerama screen, but on a smaller scale. Would be a treat to watch the "How The West Was Won" Blu-Ray on this monitor.
