  • 1.Dawkins simply states that the rule-set, and descriptions as given are adopted locally, with a projection that others are wrong.

    2. Underlying unity of all theim..one true god . was not relavanet to his pt. B'hai handles your perspective, but his pt is that being raised in other cultural contexts result in compelling belief, and denial of others' scripture.

    3. Abrahamics had only one "revelation", just the documentation differs, not as you state multiple revelations.

  • @skubersteve24 Why are all of the religions different?

Here is a fact. Test it for yourself. If you go and tell a story to 20 different people, and then ask them to come back in a month and separately ask them to recite the story to you, you will not get one story but 20 different stories.

You are welcome to consider anything you want in relation to the information that I gave you. I simply think you are wrong, and obviously un-educated.

  • @behindzioncurtain 14 years. i told my best friend that i had seen under my teachers (ms.hayat who was Hot as hell) skirt. i told him dont tell nebody. fails by the time i made it home from school. within a week she the stories jus got out of hand. one kid was adamant he'd seen me and her at McDonalds togetha. another kid told evry one me, her and mrs.cunliff had a 3some. i still see ppl today, im 24, who still say to me "i cant beleve u banged ms.hayat" and i say "me neither" haha

  • @behindzioncurtain Here is a fact. Test it for yourself. look into each religion, read there holy books or at least go to one of their churches. i'l jus let u kno that i was christian when i was younger so none of what ur saying is anything i havent heard. tho the 'facts' have changed a little since i was 15. now look at different religions and, amazingly, u'l find they are different. theyre differnt because theyr not the same...thats the definition of different......not the same....???? idiot

  • @skubersteve24 what you are saying is that the religions are different. I agree, which is why I belong to no religion. God is what is the same, each religion just interprets him differently. Amen

  • @utahpirateradio yes they are different. maybe if god was a little clearer, we wouldnt see a 16 year old sunni girl stoned to death for loving a shiite boy....i think for such a perfect and complete god, that u all claim to know, hes kind of messed it all up quite royally. in '95, 88% of earth believed god, and thats a drop.

why did u say Amen? describe this new 'God'

  • @skubersteve24 Some people worship the so-called prophets. Some people worship the laws. And other people listen to that small-still voice of God.

Now if you think that stoning to death a girl for her loving someone of another faith is condonable. I can only point you to the 10 commandments, because even in the text itself it is very much NOT condonable.

  • the point of Richard Dawkins response was that the questioners belief was a hallucination, he wasn't comparing and contrasting everyone else's hallucinations. This is a ridiculously long winded and pointless response.

  • Allah and Yahweh/Jehovah/God are indeed the same, but Krishna is not. Different traditions, different characters. saying God is the same as Krishna is like saying Frodo Baggins is the same as Harry Potter. They're all fictional characters, but from different books. And none of them are real.

  • Accentuating the difference only leads to more differences. I am illustrating things that we share in common because I believe in Unity.

  • RE: The gentleman in question. His beliefs, his tenets, his dogma would be different. That you think they are the same god is really irrelevant. Most Christians believe that you can only be saved through acceptance that Christ is the savior. Muslims don't believe that Christ is god. The gentleman in question does.

  • And....in judiasm...we go can go back to approx. 6000 years ago...the New Testament is just the answer to the old! Amen! And, I also think God loves us all....so I don't care where you start...you will end up at GOD, amen! God loves His broken little people...all of us...that is why HE is God! :)

  • Modern Hinduism dates back to around 1600-1200 BCE, christian documents start AD 30 (earlychristianwritings com ). Religions don't pray to the same god. The abrahamic religions (J/Ch/Is) pray to jhwh, but they have different ideas about it, different scriptures and as a result completely different ways of praising it.

Taking into account Greek mythology, Teutonic gods and complete aberrations like Shinto, your argument is pretty fragile.

  • @ac1th The God spoken about by the Jews, the Muslims and the Christian is the same, and those writings date back pre 2000BCE

  • @behindzioncurtain I just said that they really don't and that christians don't have any writings older than ad30. Did you even read what I posted?

  • @ac1th I disagree. Isaiah wrote about Christ 500 years before Christ arrived. Also Christ can be found in Genesis 18.. I know what you are saying in your limited point of view. I disagree.

  • @behindzioncurtain G18 doesn't refer to Christ or the Messiah, it's about "the lord" and Abraham. Isaiah did not predict Jesus. Even if he wrote about the exact character, anyone could have mimicked what he had described so that would make it a self-fulfilling prophecy and is no proof about anything.

You should also disregard any claims about past scriptures from the bible, as they could easily be fake.

Nostradamus 'predicted' 9/11 in 1654, yet you don't give a shit about his other predictions.

  • @ac1th I totally disagree. The person who approached Abraham who shared a specific name attributed to YHWY the "Most High" was Christ IMHO.

For an illustration, what this music video on youtube about Genesis 18: /watch?v=08CsK2pYGKw

  • @ac1th "Nostradamus 'predicted' 9/11 in 1654, yet you don't give a shit about his other predictions."

Says you. You have no idea how I feel about Nostradamus, because you have yet to even ask. Don't accuse me of something you clearly know nothing about. If you want to know how I feel about something, its better to ask first than accuse first.

  • @behindzioncurtain Yeah, it was Jesus Christ savior himself - in your opinion. But you don't have anything to base that opinion on or you would have already shown it to me. The video you linked is a joke. Read G18 yourself.

I presumed you wouldn't believe in Nostradamus predictions because they are extremely vague and he made thousands of them, so obviously some of them would come true at some point in some sense. If you don't realize that I can see why you'd believe in prophecy.
