When I listen to this, I hear "girl".But after seeing this video, "go" seems to make a lot sense too. I guess it's just up to what sounds better for you.

Anyway, I think this song is relevant for me now. When I listen to this, I imagine that it's about a couple hesitating about going all the way or upping the level of intimacy for fear that they might get fed up with each other too soon.
