Wasn't playback, what we keep listening is someone else's voice singing a chorus. Sound quality is awful but you can notice that when kurt stops singing voice changes and volume decreases a bit.

Damn! Nirvana were millionaires and could have made a difference in this world like becoming phlianthropist, fundraising for people's rights, etc, etc. Instead they had wasted lifestyles (especially Kurt) spending that shit on drugs and other crap. Depression, addiction, being turned into something he hated by the media. Being forced to do shows, record albums and write songs that had no meaning by greedy corporates. Apparently, this happened a lot at Nirvana shows. I was at one in Fitchburg, MA where the same thing happened. Same tour and everything, Krist was so pissed off, he stopped the show for a good five minutes, and gave a lecture on how it wasn't cool to be groping chicks who came to enjoy the show. I was 13 years old, and looking back on it, it was great to have a positive male role model speak out against that crap.
