this can be done in a n easier way: create a new 32 bit document, hold shift and draw a straight line with a round brush, then apply a gaussian blur. you might want to set up you whites the way you want them to behave when you blur them out.

This a terrible tut on creating light sabers! stick with playing with your figurines and flashlight pal.

tip for the noobs. New layer>paint line with rounded brush (hold shift for a straight line)> layer style> outer glow. bam your finished!! this is like 20 times harder what you've just watched.

oh and Ja Ja binks can go suck my balls.

well i cant make it since i got the phototshop thing and whe i try making the line tool shape for the lightsaber it makes this thing like layer but called shape, so i cant make it to layer, but yet i cant change the color, so technically, i hate this, my dumb photo thing stinks

An easier way of doing that is just making a thin rectangle for the light saber, Gaussian blurring it, and putting a coloured outer glow over it.

You go to color ballence,watch the video again he said it wont colorize If you didnt have a fill with screen color black.
