  • tokyo jo's, magaluf, steaming, staggering about to this, we 21 lads from caversham are. XXXX

  • and it still sounds so goddamn good

  • The chorus gives me goose pimples

  • I 'm getting goose pimples listening to this .... we had such a great time when this came out !!!

  • No news is news

    Now Thats a powerfull title.

Current streams of breaking news can qualify as NO NEWS

  • THIS IS A TRUE KLUB CLASSIC HIT SONG!!!!!

  • "REAL MUSIC AT IT`S BEST....REMINDS ME OF MY 1ST LOVE,THE LYRICS HIT HOME..".PAINFULLY"!!!!!!! THEY SAY "TIMES A HEALER"...IN SOME WAYS IT IS......BUT IT DOESN`T HURT TO THINK OF.... "WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN"!!!!!

  • big tune

  • @sjenism I was like 10 years old when this song was out in 1983 and living in New York. It still sounds as good as it did back then.

  • @MrKevin619ism This jam does have a funky groove. The vocals are demented, but that's part of the fun. Feels like a good time over at Skate Key or Empire to me....

  • I love this song it took me along time to fine it

  • I was looking for this song for years! i finally found it!

  • @shanardkitt4lyfe I was looking too for a long time and my buddy told me it was on you tube and I hit the roof when I did. This is New York club music at it's finest for sure.

  • This is definitely a NYC classic. Paula Anderson sounds like a lunatic bouncing all over those notes the way she does, but I love this joint. The bassline is killer. Got me feelin' like taking a slow ride down the Grand Concourse....Or maybe Lenox Ave.... I love these old joints...!

  • Its amazing how many of the songs in this era had the same drum machines, synths and formula but I really don't get tired of it. I remember liking this one back in the day but listening again, it sounds awesome.

  • @nubonyx-Same stuff-diiferent day...Whazzup in your neck of the woods? I have been you-tubing golden oldies as well as a mixture of all kinds of music lately...Check out my channel when you get a chance....

  • This is my jam. You would definately find me on the dance floor on this one. Reminds me of Leviticus on 33rd Street, NYC (my favorite spot). The DJ mixed it well there. Bentley's and Silver Shadow too. What about the Down Under!!!!

  • Catecombs, Chucks, Dustys, Allegro...Philly!!!

  • @MrKappakool , what's the haps family?

  • BIG BIG TUNE STILL LOVE IT NOW WICKED

  • NYC...83...Bentley's, Silver Shadow, underground...those were the days...R.I.P.... Tracy...we danced to this more than once...~

  • @outtlett Oh yeah... Used to bob to this at the original Skate Key

  • Oh, yeah! Where's my mixed tape?

  • I remember hearing this joint on the original WKTU(92.3 FM),98.7 Kiss FM(WRKS),and WBLS(107.5 FM) during my days at I.S. 52 in The Bronx on Kelly Street between Legget Avenue and Avenue St. John back in 1983. Urban radio stations need to play this joint more often instead of most of the bullshit that's out now.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 You are so right... This is a killer ass track.

  • @coverdale20 Thanks for agreeing with me.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 Hell yeah, heard this on KISS and WBLS like three days apart last week. I was comin' down the Belt and the groove was hittin' just right.... This joint and "You Used to Hold Me So Tight" by Thelma Houston are killa ass tracks. Top it off with "What's Missing" by Alexander O'Neal and I'm ready to have an eargasm.... Mattafact, a little "Intimate Connection" by Kleeer and "Affecttion" by Ta Mara and The Seen would be the icing on the cake right about now...!

  • @coverdale20 No doubt about that one indeed.

  • somebody needs to post the dub mix by darryl payne .... that was the Garage flava for it there.

  • mixsensei, thanks for posting ALL of my faves!! :)

  • @nubonyx- This song takes me back- Donald from Chucks & the Catacombs used to tear this up...Those were the days!!!!...I'm going to be in Philly during the holidays for a minute; is there anywhere that puts it down like back in the day? Please advise...Thanx 4 ur responce brother...

  • @MrKappakool see..... that's what i'm talking about. sorry if you missed those parties.

  • This song was part of Philadelphia for a quite some time....DUSTYS aka' SMART PLACE....CHUCKS-NORTH PHILLY!!!!.... THE UNDERGROUND AFTER HOURS SPOT(catecombs) Every now and the ALLEGRO would spin this also... Old school baby, gone but never forgotten...

  • @MrKappakool , oh hell yeah!!!!! The first time I heard this was on 98.7 kiss in NYC, but when Todd, who deejayed at Allegro, played this joint he blew that mutha fukka up son!

  • This was the sh__! They don't make music like this anymore.

  • NYC...Bentley's...Siver Shadow...Down under... The Garage...I remember when the smoke from the dry ice at bentley's 1st floor would be so thick on this jam, you couldn't see who u were dancin' wit....good times...better music thanks for posting~!!

  • @outtlett - Hell yes! DJ Sugar Daddy would tear this up, together with "I Can't Stand It", "Don't Let It Be Crack", "Funk Box Masterdon Committee" and "Before I Let Go".... hell to the yeah! I was there EVERY week.

  • @outtlett , word. The Garage, Nels, The Shadow, Roseland, The Tunnel...damn...you went on a brotha.

  • Man I can't begin to tell you how I felt when I found this joint on here. This jam is vicious and it sounds even better with age. Now this is what club music is all about. Show em' how to do it, son !

  • To the poster below, I know what you're talking about in regard to Bentleys. Kevin 'Sugar Daddy' Woodley used to bang this tune, and we all loved it

  • I would play this song so much around the house when I lived in Connecticut that it became a family athem. The entire family would dance all night long James Brown, Unlimted Touch, Cameo, Barry White, and Michael Jackson just to name a few. Those were the days. WBLS use to play this hit. Life was good then. Life is good now. Hi Paul Anderson. Are you still singing? Listening to this tracks makes me want to run in my studio and play so records. I have 2 copies of the 12 inch to remix live,
