Maybe not a fool at all, he has succeeded in every effort: deregulate industry buddies who made billions from it, trashed the Constitution, got politically motivated judges at every level who will make sure his legacy will haunt us for decades, ruined US economy for all but his buddies, invaded an essentially defenseless country for benefit of further raping the treasury, politized every government agency, etc....How many others could claim such accomplishments in only 7 years?

It might be us just appreciating her more. But gradually she is allowing the makeup artist to prep her for TV and if it adding attractive shadowing contours to her face. She is also wearing more fitted jackets with flattering colors. But it doesn't hurt that smart guys think smart women are sexy, even if she prefers women. Hell, I can appreciate that, so do I. She is still the first person I would invite to a dinner party.

I know it is redundant, but I really, really want to see Rachel with her own show. Here is the question: If her show was on at 11:00EST/10:00CST would you tivo the daily show or "The Straight Talk Express with Rachel Maddow"?

Of course it was a publicity photo op. Aside from PR for himself, the point was to get the media to focus on the floods when what they want to do is focus on the race, and to help encourage volunteers and raise money.

Well considering that I live in WA I couldn't fill much but didn't stop me from making my typical donations to famine relief, the Red Cross Disaster response or the 3 sponsor children I support the Children's International. And since I am in WA I do my share in regards to excessive logging and have been a member of the Seira club now for 6 years. Obama was there before it became a media thing and is asking people to donate money to these people, where was McSame? Of course, talking to big oil and raising money for himself. One of the principal differences between the two parties.

Democrats represent and support poor, low and moderate income. Republicans are all about the money. Look at Bush's response to Katrina - classic example.
