The reason Conservative voices tend to be shut out on campuses is the same reason Socialist voices are shut out on FOX news. The overwhelming majority of college students are Democrats, Socialists, or other form of left or center-left ideologies. It should be expected that conservatives not get a chance to speak without being boo'd off of the stage. Last I checked, it was legal for individuals to stop speech, and only illegal for States to attempt to do so.

The best thing concerned Americans can do to stop appearing racist is:

1. stop associating what a minority of people do with a racial or religious group

2. loudly criticise racists who indiscriminately assault muslims and vandalise mosques

3. get your leaders to hold US marines to account for war crimes against Afghans and Iraqis

4. march and raise your voice loudly to reject it as well as your country's discriminatory 'anti-terror' legislation

& most important of all, stop being ignorant!
