I had the 1993 version of this lens and weighed whit lenshood 7KG. It was in those days already mindblowing razor disquisting sharp, bud this new version is even bedder .Nice video baytheway.

I have been saying this for over 15 years.,Every pro photographer knows it.,The Canon 400mm f 2.8 is the sharpest lens Canon has ever made.,the 200mm f 1.8 comes in at second place and the 300mm f 2.8 at third place.,this has been the last 15 years never changed.
