  • every time i see a guitar demo and this guy is giving it, i see nothing but bad comments about him. Its like watching bill gates demo a blender..it's just not making my dick hard about the item in question..boring, drab, flavorless, grey..either find a hot ass chick in hooters clothing to talk about the guitar or at least someone who can be more a player and less a weather man. We don't care about the history we want to hear it play so we can get an idea of what it will sound like when purchased

  • @scripteaze my gaydar is going off, just saying

  • Nice guitar. I played one in a shop the other day and couldn't believe how good it sounded for the money. Value!!!

  • I've never understood what the significant of the letter and numbers of each guitar (D710 for example) does it have to do with the shape and length or do they just want to confuse me. please someone answer back.

  • @sucramdude

    D: Dreadnought

7: 700 series (solid top, solid back, and laminated side)

10: Engelmann Spruce top + Indian Rosewood back side

  • looks very light..has to aged 5 more years.

  • Sounds a bit too woody for me.

  • sounds great

  • i dont like the guitar sound

  • @400080vikkash That's ok, everyone's ear is different, when you find a guitar which has the sound and playability you like, then by all means, get it. When it comes to your equipment, ultimately, your opinion is the only one that matters.

  • I played Walden CG600CE in a music shop with laney acoustic amp.

All the people at the shop were blown away by that sweet sound.

The Walden guitars are excelent value and very good guitars.

  • Not much base

  • Full Solid Guitar?? how much is this beauty?

  • @jedaxel these things are great, i have a walden 550 pretty similar to this one infact, the sound is great and rich, and it plays great, affordable aswell, i think the 550 goes for something like $375 on the walden website.

  • how about D710CE??

  • 0:53 he plays

  • Heeartbreaakkk waaarrfarreeeeeee

  • nice but it also sounds a bit dull

    Thanks Paul!

  • @overban888 Can be the microphone too.

  • Good guitar !!

  • One small mistake in your description. The sides are NOT solid. Top and back are solid but not sides.

  • I've owned one of these for 3 years and I'm delighted with it. I had it professionally set up and now play it around the pubs and just for fun. It's definitely matured over the 3 years and sounds better than ever. I even had a Lowden player tell me how good it sounds! Plays well right up the neck. You don't need to spend 1000's to get a decent guitar. Whatever you play, rock on and have fun.

  • ooh, very nice guitar!

  • can someone tell me what x scalloped bracing is?

  • just google it

  • bell suono

  • taylors guitars are better

  • maybe...but much more expensive. i own a D2040 that sounds great and plays great. what else do you need?

  • i see what you mean it sounds like a nice guitar i just never played one i like taylors beacuse they have a long sound that last forever

  • can someone tell me where the other peg for the guitar strap is? i see one on the bottom but....

  • have u never owned/seen a acoustic guitar.... the strap ties onto the headstock near the nut.... well some acoustics have 2 pegs.. .but not alot

  • i have, but mine weren't designed that way. and i guess i never noticed with other acoustics.

  • If its not on your guitar already, you'll have to intall it yourself. It's not difficult, they sell the pegs at guitar stores. I haven't bought them in a while, so I don't remember an exact price, but they are not gonna break your bank at all. They're easy to install, they even come with intructions, but honestly, you wont need them. Just screw it in the guitar. If you have any trouble, the people at your guitar store will put them on. Hope that helped.

  • yeah i'm quite familiar with it now that i wasn't lazy to go research it more, but i'm just iffy about it messing up the bank like you said. probably could get someone else to do it. i just don't like the strap there by the head.

  • strap buttons are installed on the heel of the neck. have a guitar shop put one on for you. i had it done for $5. having a pro do it is best. if you have a guitar with a bolt on neck make sure they know it so that when the button is installed it doesn't run into one of the bolts. you'll find that it's much more comfortable and it removes the stress of the weight of the guitar from the neck.

  • Sounds great.

  • If this is made left handed i might get it.

  • grandpa's guitar

  • lol dethklok the grandpaz guitarz

  • He has a very STIFF and ROBOTIC way to his playing??

He's good as a player just not very interesting as a listener..

  • Paul plays very nice, thats why all guitars he demonstrates sound good :)

  • that sounds brilliant compared to the other acuostic guitars iv heard him play

  • want

  • i actually just checked out the walden website just out of curiosity and it says that this guitar is made up of only a solid top and back, not side. again, not trying to bash on paul or anything, just happened to stumble upon that

  • I liked the way they faded him out playing, but yeah, would've liked to hear a little bit more of it. I'm looking into getting an acoustic.

  • I Prefer Acoustic Reviews, Shows Off His Playing Better

  • too short !

  • FINALLY a good acoustic review from Guitarworld. on all the others hes running through the electronics and they all have that trebly compressed tone. since this doesn't have electronics, you get the real sound of it because its mic'd.

  • agree with you man...

  • i dont know why but i never enjoyed playing waldens.

  • The first decent acoustic review from GW ive seen.

  • Good player, but he talks more than he plays

  • the reason is, because u cant judge the quality of an acoustic from a youtube video for sevral reasons, so knowing about the guitar is very important to understanding it

  • That is good for reviewing imo.

  • He's supposed to run through everything the guitar offers. I agree that some reviews are way too talk-heavy but still he only talked for about 50 secs on this one.

  • not bad

  • sounds good

  • how much does it cost?:)

  • And everybody thinks your an idiot.

  • wtf?!

  • what does frist mean?
