SK08 SUCKS. got it and returned it the next day. it didnt ring or vibrate with text messages or IM's. ALSO, it only told me the phone number of incoming texts not the name that was in the address book (instead of "Julie" it would say "000-000-0000"). i called tmobile and they told me that the 08's have that issue and there is no fix yet & you cant exchange it. so 'too bad' basically. why have a SK when its not going to tell you that you have a text or IM? isnt that what they mainly made it for??

thats too bad that you didn't stick with it. The number issue is fixed when you put a name in the 'Nickname' slot for the contact. The ringing issue was probably an issue with the individual ring profiles. for each profile you have to set the volume and tone level. It takes a lot of fiddling. So i don't believe that tmobile told you there was no fix. If i've had it for 14 hours and have already figured that out... you were probably a little impatient. its not a simple device. takes some brains.
