  • Pinky man (Tenor far left)

  • Cymbal players @ the end FTW!

  • the tenor on the end closest to the camera has fly away pinky fingers lol

  • hey this like ummmm whats the name of this warm its like the A corps but its not

  • woo! look at those pinkies!

  • i hate being a prick and pointing out ticks, but that end tenor has got some nasty pinky stuff goin on.....

  • dont quite understand the annotations?????

  • its a joke.... cuz thats where they both ended up marching the next season

  • Keelan misses an accent at 0:24! aha! so you are a human after all!

  • i wish every core had a B line.. that would be freakin sweet! well atleast the top 15 should have them

  • @LDquadline87 Haha...that's what I keep thinking...

  • Tenor farthest to the right... pinky on the diddles... 0:57

  • woah, I noticed that too!!!

    It looks horrible!!!

  • in holland we call it evil finger..

  • LOL

  • Keep them pinkies on that stick brotha!

  • those tenors are hella deep

  • why does it look like keelan is chicken winging like crazy? the light off of the car behind him maybe?

  • cuz u was

  • cuz i was lol....long story or u can read the previous comment from me

  • Comment removed

  • ur cool

  • at 0.57, look to the most right tenor his left hand..... evil finger!

  • agreed.

  • hey, do you play with a DCI-corps?

  • WORD! Carolina Crown 2009 FTW!

  • I wonder how many of these guys are in a world class corps now....

  • i think just two, keelan and joe, as depicted by the annotations.

keelan is 18 and joe aged out.

  • ur missing joey on bass....he marched devs 09 too..oh and corey did mandarins

  • anybody got the sheets? trade?

  • spongebob pinky pinky!!! lol why does keelans elbow come out so far.. not critiquing just askin

  • it was a bad habit. since im so small i tried to look bigger by doing that and trying to appear wider. I tried to look like Noel too....haha if u watch the videos he has his elbow out. But ive learned to relax it more

  • great job fixing it!

  • Both Fingers came off.

  • damn!!!...at 0:59 look at the tenor player's technique. sucks!!!

  • I know, pinkys right?

  • what in the world? i dont think i can even play that way if i tried haha

  • OH come on they're in B corp you cant expect a perfect tenor player

  • yes i was gonna comment that. but if they can get one tenor next to him on that part to stick his pinky out at all. the last one wouldn't look so bad =p jk completely could have been a onetime thing but thats doubtful

  • hey.. is it hard to make it into this core..? and is there lots of people trying out? and how expensive is it? and do they help you out or the just put you aside during camp?

  • it's $1600 this season (i am marching snare with them)

and it depends on what you want to try out for. there were about 40 people trying out for snare this season.

  • is it hard for snare... is the music attainable or is it like the a core?

  • the music is a lot easier than the a corps book. but it isn't just some easy stuff like in a high school band.

  • well what i meant is that.. are the people trying out for it good... or not every one?

  • Most people that show up have chops but some are just there for the experience of trying out. It's pretty competitive though.

  • same exact snare part dude

  • km didn't they lose by .125? not .05

  • Nah, it was .05, trust me haha

  • arrg someones got pinky-itis. =/

  • lol At first I was wondering what your comment meant, but then I noticed the far end tenor player.

  • no kidding

  • woo sticks in

  • How much do 1 of those snares cost?

  • try $600 with the laminate

  • Wow. Are you guys sponsored or something? because all those drums must cost a lot.

  • lol im not in the corp.

but yes BDB gets sponsorship through the A corp.

A corp gets new drums every year, whereas the B corp gets them every 2.

the C corp gets the B corps old drums.

  • Well.. Looks like my high school will not be able to even buy 1 of these drums, because ours sound like CRAP, Listen to them

Search in youtube: "Maury snares n the bandroom #1"

  • we have the same drums without the double snares, and without the laminates.

ours dont sound too great either our drum tech hates "the high pitched sound"

so he tunes them low and wet

  • How bored did you get with the "hey joe" crap lol

  • I don't even think the conversation would even go like that,... joe only has a 1 word response? "cool" come on keelan you marched next to the guy the whole summer, i was half expecting an essay haha

  • 0:58-1:06 look at ends pinky...WOOOO!!!!...

  • HAHAHAHAHAH I KNO

  • Comment removed

  • how much does this cost? i'd like to try out maybe in the summer

  • Just check out the bd website.

  • $1600

  • I want to try out for this corps but i dont think i can because i dont live there.

  • it doesnt matter where u live. come down

  • yea but dont you have to live in that state to be in the b corps. i know anyone can try out for the regular blue devils but i swore only people from there can be in blue devils b or c.

  • if you want to be in it bad enough u can..you wouldnt be the first from out of state

  • oh then im definetly going to try out for it. not this year though next year.

  • this is the "b" line? Are these the people not good enough to march the regular line?

  • Some Drum Corps have a "B" or "Cadet" Corps that's meant for members of a younger age group. These corps usually get you ready for the "A" Corps.

Blue Devils have an A,B, and C corps. Santa Clara Vanguard has the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, and The Colts have The Colt Cadets, for example. It shouldn't be looked upon as a group that you're part of if you're not "good enough" for an A Corps, though.

  • no its like how a middle school drumline feeds into a specific high school drumline. plus a lot of ppl do open class drumcorps to be able to still drum/march and have more free time if they are busy doing something or need to miss a practice, although its not encouraged. these corps are usually more flexible and they would compromise with your schedule a bit more.

  • Some sick bass splits going on there.

  • I'm going to the work shop on the 20th of December this year.

I hope I make it into either pit or the cymbal line when try-outs come in January.

  • good choice. i'll be there too.

  • I suppose I'll be seeing you at Glenbrook this Saturday? :)

  • sounds sick, but it doesn't look very comfortable...

  • proably cause they don't really use moeller stroke. but i like it they way Blue devils drum. :D

  • anyone have this warm up, and all the others?

  • Does anyone have the music for this?

  • yah ill scan it

    send me your email.

  • beast basses

  • end tenor

    PINKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i saw that too! i was like damnit put your god damn pinky in...

  • How did their techs never catch that?

  • idk but they didnt have a tenor tech. they pretty much had to clean, fix, tune themselves. this yr they will the same one from a corps. im pretty sure.

  • yes! haha i cant believe that

  • I'm thinking about trying out on tenors... I live in SoCal so maybe I could fly up there. When are auditions? How much does it cost?

  • tryout r usually in january. last season it cost $1500

  • that was cool but i heard a little bass hick-up near the end. :(

  • sheet music?

  • has there been a girl tenor player lately? on this line or the SCV cadets?

  • scv cadets and mystikal

  • I think my "height" issue would have always been the fact that I'm 6'-4" LOL...

    Way too old now though.

  • I would like to try out for this line, but I think I have a height issue. I've always put thought into trying out, though. Maybe I'll give it a try for the 2010 season.

    Nice playing, too.

  • what do you mean hieght issue...come out

  • yeah just come try out. I thats the only thing holdin you back, they'll fix it within a month. Its a good experience

  • pinky

  • fat ass pinky on far tenor..lmaooo

other than that this drumline rocks.

what are the ages for these people in b group?

  • lol, hes a rook, cheating and getting away with it cause of a camera.

  • yeah your right about his pinky. its ugly but i told him to fix it and he did. but the avg age in this line is 15-19

  • Sooooo....I like the beats NOT big on the way their hards look and how still they play...I know that dude on bottom...goes to Bella Vista. Says alot....yeah pinkys big time and dirt on a few hand transitions...overall Vanguard cadets rule these beats.

  • well if buzz rolls and 8th notes are harder to play than 9let singles and 180 beats a minute triplet rolls then yeah svc is better

  • another you tube drum judge , whatever man --don't hate us because you aint us

  • dude, pinky comin off the stick in the tenors

  • You can see it from hella far.

  • 7 snares, 5 tenors and 5 bass... fucking siq :P!!

Tenors are cleaner then the bass and snare... wtf..

  • YOU KNOW WHAT I MARCHED B Corp 92-96 and they look and sound sound fuckin great jouqin get yo ass out the screen homey this is MONTOYA hahahahahahahahah

  • not bad. theres dirt at some parts, but i cant really expect these guys to be perfectly clean, good job.

  • Wow they look good
