I remember this game. It was very complex 2 play, but the designing + gaming of it was brilliant. Dr. Neo Cortex was 1st voiced by Brendan O'Brien, he only voiced Dr. Cortex on this game aswell as Dr. Nitrus Brio and of course... Crash Bandicoot who mainly dosen't speak.

In my opinion: Neo Cortex's theme in Crash 1, was more sinister and evil (and is my favorite), his theme in Crash 2 had a groovy theme ;) and the one he had in Crash 3, was catchy and i liked it so much that i lost focus on the actual battle and danced to the music (lol).

When I was little, I only heard this theme on the bonus. When growing up, I thought that the bonus was just a dream, totally forgetting the music. Even older, then on the 100% cheat boss (no, I actually got on it, but later on I did cheat boss) I couldn't hear the music. Sounded lame. On the bonus round after like 9 yrs, hear the second part of theme then.... BOOM! Nostalgia surge.

Sonic is a Blue Hedgehog who runs very fast, but Crash Bandicoot on the other hand is a Orange Bandicoot who is a creation of Dr. Neo Cortex trying to stop him from his evil scams.

Not only that but the gameplay is very different. I would know because I've played both of the series of games buddy. :3

I've been toying with the idea of remaking the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy into 1 big game for the PS3 (to reflect on the series PS1 origins). It would have a darker story, showing a more emotional side to Cortex by looking into his past and showing how he was transformed into the sadistic madman he is today.

It would also convey a more bitter sweet relationship between Cortex and Crash where Crash realizes that Cortex isn't all bad but simply driven insane by the bitterness of his past
