Another great document which you are to be congratulated for! This is great stuff...have you taken the time to copyright it? I made 5 video tributes to the old drive-ins which I failed to copyright now a user, TheFabulousSixties, has taken it upon himself to copy them and present them as his own on his channel. Oh well...my fault I guess!
There is some great stuff to be found here, and I guess I need to be present on Youtube more often! Keep up your great work, my friend!

@JSTONE9352 Nice momories, thank you. The STAR LITE was still open when I got my driver licence, but I only went there a few times because I thought it would always be there. After that, I tried to visit the NORTHSIDE and M78 as much as possible. I worked at the M78 it's final 9 seasons, so naturally I went there alot. Vandals dcestroyed theNORTHSIDE beyond repair, very sad, and I was paranoid my car would break down at the CREST, went once on moped, though. I wonder where the vista c is now.
The lot is still empty as of 5-12-11, plenty of room for three screens. When she opened, the STAR LITE had a rather large neon marquee. To block the bright lights from the audience, a metal sheet was installed that was later converted to the new STAR LITE marquee when the original marquee was removed.
As of January 1st, 2012, the STAR LITE remains an empty lot with no development on the horizen. DLB

Thank you for the 939 views! I spent quite a bit of time at the abandoned STAR LITE. I honor the memory of the STAR LITE by presenting it here.

700 views! Allow me to congratulate myself. Thank you for the TWO likes. Perhaps those other 698 viewers hated the video? What's up with THAT?

Been there in its 1960s glory days, I remember seeing a movie in the
neighbors 1968 Vista Cruiser where we would sit on the back trunk door
with the window rolled down and it made pretty good seats looking over the
top of the car.

It could've been but it never was. The screen, concession stands, etc., were all torn down many years ago. All that remains, sadly, is an empty lot.

Hmmm that screen could be fixed. Maybe they could get some of that Obama stimulus money and open her back up.
