  • @Nickparmy16 screw the US? you do know the CCG trains with the USCG right? you also know that the USCG has the largest and best trained Coast Guard right?

  • how can you be ccg or us navy? im pretty sure for ccg you need to be canadian resident or citizen and for us navy you would prolly need to be us citizen... and if you are a student join irb if you have the right quallies... great job!

  • well thats a bonus... to be an 'officer' in the CCG you need to go to coast guard college out east. other than that im pretty sure you just high school to get in as regular fleet

  • I was a member of CG507, Nootka this past summer for the IRB program. Needless to say, I want your job! Haha, Im definately going to try to be out there again this summer. If How did you get into your job, did You manage to skip Buoy Tending? Anyways, cheers might see you out on the Left Coast this season!
