  • This is a great amp for the price. Change the speaker and it removes some harshness. Makes the clean even better and warms up the drive. Highly recommend this amp for home use.

  • hey guys i have this amp well i had 4 but i blew out the first 2 for shows this actually is a great amp for small gigs and your 7 is your 10

  • Your mic isn't crappy, don't worry! And whoa, as soon as I heard you start playing, I was like MUST-BUY! I'm a beginner, so I'm on a amp search before I get my guitar. Keep it up! Good personality & good review : )

  • I love the sound you got when you first fired it up. Quite nice.

  • Great review. I am purchasing one online right now for my 8 yr old for home use. Guitar Center has the red one one sale for $80, and $15 off that for purchases over $75. That's $65 for what looks like a great home amp. That will get her off my amps, haha.

  • @bad205 Hey thanks for the good words! I'm sure shes going to get a lot of enjoyment from the amp for years to come, You might even catch yourself playing through it sometimes too lol, Take care and happy holidays

    Cheers, Piney

  • The amp I have is 6 years old, and maybe that is why it has a static/hiss noises, even though I use a Monster Jazz cable. The volume for clean cords will only work at 2.5 volume. There is an Ibanez Wholetone Jazz amp, 80W, 15" speaker, and is in my price range. This amps is 100% totally clean sounding at all lvolume levels. It sounds great in You Tube. So, it just may be what I need. Angain, thanks for your reply- very helpful

  • I do have questions about this amp: (1) does it hiss when you turn on the amp, and hiss louder as you turn up volume, (2) does the volume jump from "0" to very loud on "1", or can you get low volume tones gradually that sound good, (3) Do you think there is very little base tone, (4) How loud does the clean channel numerical settings go before getting muddy.

  • @mailvilla

    1) No mine does not.

    2) No its a gradual rise.

    3) No for what the amp is it's very adequate quality.

    4) I had the clean channel up to 8 playing with a drummer behind me and it was fine.

Let me know if these answers help you and thanks for watchin'
