@wisezom He's not really a hybrid because his ears did not fold. 50% of Scottish Fold kittens fold and 50% don't. Its a natural mutation. Fold breeders do use American Shorthairs and British Shorthairs to outcross to in order to keep the breed healthy. He's a hybrid because of that, but not because his ears did not fold.

@wisezom No problem. What is really funny about folds is that they are all born with straight ears. And then 21 days of life, the ones that are going to fold, start folding. Within the week after that point, you have folded kittens and non folded (straight earred) kittens. But no matter the ears, Scottish Folds have a unique childlike personality.
