You can also hot wire/shape the form in polystyrene foam (1/4 the $ of Urethane) and bag it (with vacuum). Lightly glue the dry 'glass over the bag with contact adhesive and associated peel ply/shade cloth/plastic film (2nd bag) then vacuum infuse the body/trunk part. It's quicker, easier and again, no timber used. I build aircraft components this way and it's a fine system (don't tell Boeing you are doing this as they hold the patent. lol) Cheers.
I just watched the whole series in one sitting. Great videos. I was looking for fiber glass videos because I wanted to start creating custom motorcycle fairings and eventually redesign autobodies. These videos were great. Thanks for taking the time.
