  • @JakobMyhrstad this guy doesn't need to play with two finger's he has four and a thumb and take's this song to another level!!!.......

  • Hallo André,

das ist ja Hammer schön,was du da leistest.Daumen Hoch!!!Einfach absolute Klasse:-)Weiterhin viel Erfolg...!:-)glg

  • don't really know what I'm saying here but - as clever as this is - this use of a guitar doesn't produce a clean enough and therefore easy to listen to sound for me

  • I think I believe in God now.

  • Increduble!

  • nice pickins

  • This guy has one the most amazing right hands i've ever seen!

  • i want to cut his fingers off

  • I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but the 200,000+ views that you have has been mostly me playing this video over and over because it sounds so damn good!

  • @provincejm the rest are me.

  • @provincejm I helped! A LOT!!!! I need more from this guy, soon. but please no singers.

  • Bravo bravo!!!

  • Realy good,

only i don't like his timing..

  • Oh, yeah *clears throat*. I can do that... easy peasy *looks arounds*

  • I can do it better.

I just have to practice another 500 years or so.

    Just wait , youll see.

  • my god i luv this stuff

  • @manosjazz I doubt that. Didi you recognize the speed of tunes like Dark Eyes. There is just time for doing it right in that very millisecond. If you can improvise at that speed at that musical level you can consider urself a maestro. I don't know many players who can. Maybe Bireli and Angelo.

  • Sounds great. Very good note-by-note-rendition.

  • Damn your good!! Fantastic and thanks for posting!!

  • This is the best dark eyes arrangement I have ever heard.

  • I dig it!

  • wow... great ... So beautiful ..*****

    key

  • WHOW! Das ist ja richtig cool! Respekt!

  • a great Version and very great Guitarplaying!!! I like your swing.. while soloing..

  • He's making my computer lag! XD

  • Vive Django !! Un des plus grands guitaristes du XXe siècle !

  • stuided how good he is

  • There is no way you can not enjoy this music, however: "Why don't the music match

the actual motion of of his hands?" Is it the down load speed or my computer or what?? as you can tell I'm old and slow!!

  • Cóś niesamowitego. Jestem pod wrażeniem1

  • SUPERBE!!!

  • yeah!!!!!

  • Andreas Oberg can take a dump on Andre Krengel guitar playing

  • just great!!! so inspiring i love gypsy jazz.. its so much better seen live, you litterally get taken over by the rythmn.. thier right hand technique is so percussive..... amazing stuff

  • Killer, man -- you got it.

  • super song and video...

    thanks dear...

  • Hi ! I will tell you the truth, when I've seen the guitar, I've thought "no, not another Django's style guitarist". I loved that style of music, but wherever you look, in all the Guitar magazines, they only speak of that, the lessons, all...I've rated your video as 5*, cause even if I'm a little bit sick of this music, I recognize when it is well played, and that's the case, you perform it really well. Well done, man. BYE !

  • Suena bastante bien pero no suena nada como la melodia original

  • I draw to this kind of music, there's just something about it that gives you the right amount of of mental stimulation to get those creative fluids circulating.

    11/10 very Good!!

  • This is so amazing.

  • You Rock!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bravo bravo!

  • where can i find tabs to this song??

    very nice btw.

  • O L E

  • You cheeky bastard; detuning the E string like that. That was incredible.

  • When Bireli is in a good day, I can't agree more but that is not the mark of a "god". I see incredible talent in Bireli and the courage to make mistakes in public. Respectfully, does anyone have recordings of Bireli performing classic Paganini caprices or maybe the Sabre Dance? Anyone with enough technique can create mazing freeform solos at blazing speed if the little mistakes are not held against them. Bireli is not the best.

  • I am speechless....

  • Damn, i love it!

  • brilliant!

  • You know how to play this. You are a Russian, after all. Congratulations, and thanks for posting.

    Greeatings from Berlin Germany

  • Fantastic music Andre, we want more!!!

  • amazing!

  • I actually think he does all this - really well! I'm also a guitar player and sick and tired of technical players that sound like they're programmed like a computer...this guy has, the way I hear it, a human, expressive and communicative attitude!

  • Magnificent spaceba!!!

  • mother...

  • This guy is an amazing guitar player.

  • Is this really you playing at 2.02? This is great! Hope that your dream comes true.

  • reminds me of the great Han'sche Weiss btw!

  • just perfect!

  • saw him live on sep 5th, he IS that awesome !!

  • Oh My God!!!

  • speachless

  • geilo!!

  • ohhh awsome luv luv luv

  • This is Birelli Lagrene version! is the same thing, listen to the Gispsy Project CD and you'll see

  • Dear Listener, thanks for the comment...you are right and wrong :-)Django recorded this version first, 1947 -Birelli recorded it for the first time - 1982 on his CD "fifteen" - he was fiveteen years old, back then...you will not find it on the Gipsy-Project CD, but there is DVD called " Birelli Gipsy Project and friends - "Jazz a Vienne"

  • ...there you can see them all playing this version, almost everybody plays it unisono together with him (including some different variations)you can find this video on youtube as well :-)Stochelo recorded it on" live at the North Sea festival" (probably the most famous recording)and played it live a lot of times.

  • BUT THE SECOND PART OF THIS VERSION -(starting at 2.02 until the end) -

IS MY PERSONAL VERSION OF THIS SONG...

of course i would be honoured, if anybody like Birelli would play or even record it , hehehe this would be a dream...

  • @speakingguitar I would like to know, how can u be that fast even though it seems that fingers of your left do some superflous moves. It just looks like that when i look it,i belive it is nothing wrong.I am not that good guitarist,so i am interested in all kind of tehnique...

  • You are the BEST BEST BEST BEST

  • Великолепная вариация! Супер!

  • Absolutely Incredible.

  • Thaaaaaanks....amazing!

    yeeeeees......

  • great

  • very impressionnant, good quality of sound, and please don t stop gypsy, you re strong for this and i don t understand how you can play whith your right hand straight, it s harder like this just bravo and sorry 4 my english, not many people can play this song at this rythm.. continu in this style don t listen sola !!!

  • Very nice velocity. Good left hand.

Just miss the gipsy sound, the right hand attack.

    But your good.

  • Фантастика.

  • Great version. You've got it pal.

  • his guitar is a lark in the morning

  • Great job !! But if you let me say that i think it would be better with real gypsy technics like bireli lagrenne or tchavolo schmitt... I can't say that in english but in french this technic is named "poigné décolé"...good luck

  • excellent playing, but my opinion is its to fast, cant feel the song in the same way. Still a superb proformance

  • Well. That was a bit of fab.

  • great !!

  • yeah, so you are definitely one of the best guitar players in the world. quality stuff brother.

  • Amazing Guitarwork is putting it mildly, it's magnificent wonderful playing.

  • Omg, 3:26

    This man is a god!

  • lol

  • Hello.

I like your personal version of Dark Eyes.

    Congratulation.

  • Great job with the impro!

  • Great Interpretation,

    Great performance!

  • Great guitar play but IT IS NOT "OCHI CHORNIE", This is only improvization.

  • that's just AWESOME

  • FANTASTICK PLAYING!! wOWW

  • не классика,но класс!

  • It would of been a lot nicer if this was filmed at a frame rate higher than 18 or whatever it is!

  • ya no kidding... I second that

  • His fingers' speed do not correspond with the rhythm of music. The interpretation of "The Black eyes" is interesting though. But I doubt it was him who plays

  • Comment removed

  • I can personally insure you, that it is really him playing on that Video.

besides you can check out the other Videos for example "Sweet Georgia Brown" that is a bit better and more synchron than this video here or buy his CD.

On his CD there are more proves for his excellent guitar skills.

  • god bless this man !

  • great improvising

  • nice interpretation!

  • food for the soul!

  • Breathtaking!

  • Forsa se fraer

  • so great!

    good ideas of melodies;

  • Wow,

    Spencer.

  • mama shavo!cul bashaves!

  • wow this is amazing. :)

  • the end is unbelievable...too bad the video quality wasnt as good as his playing....D:

  • Some of the most amazing guitar work ever. I wish I could play this.

  • This is unbelievable!

  • Your user ID on youtube is "speaking guitar" because you really do speak through your guitar. You've demonstrated both technical skill and impressive improvisation. Bravo!

  • Astounding!! I don't think Andreas Oberg could hang with that; Danny Fender - maybe, but not likely.

  • Very very fine kind of playing guitar. Congratulations.

    Mike Garcia

  • wonderful playing! You've got that django tone and attack DOWN!! loving it! this is the first video I've seen of you, I'm going to watch some more.

  • WHAAAAAAAT! That drop tune line was awesome
