@Adamsmith2011, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) didn't get married to all of his wives simply because of his desires, he married 9 year old Aisha so that he may make peace between 2 tribes. Since he was a truthful, respected person, tradesman and a Prophet, people asked him to marry a girl from their tribe so they may set their differences aside. Also, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), never had any of his children with Aisha. He only had his children with his first wife Khadij
