You're forgetting that these shows are edited by people who aren't fussed about keeping certain things in sync, because the bulk of viewers don't have a clue anyway.
I have often noticed that parts of the video footage they use come from points in the act not related to the audio at that point. They do it a lot with dance acts. This year, the Bruce Sistaz audition is a good example because they showed two versions on two separate shows -- one more heavily edited than the other. ;)

I am a violinist and I know how to play this piece.. and it's Youtube what fucks this video over. I thought you knew that, what else can you expect. I've few piano videos and they are slighty off sync just because of youtube. Go figure. But merry christmas :)
@MrEjals That's such crap. The synching is off on many You Tube Clips because of the uploading or errors in the tape, not the performer. Mimicing is not allowed and would dealt with accordingly.
I might get a lot of thumbs-down for this but I don't think she's playing the violin here. Her bow NEVER touches the left side of the violin and at 2:30 the violin starts to play and she's nowhere near the strings. This is one big hoax, the judges were duped.

Listen to the original (Explosive by Bond) and at the beginning of the performance, you can hear the back track playing, showing that yes there are some sounds from the track, but she is the main violin in the piece.
Very talented girl. I really liked her performance, the music was awesome, very professional. But i think that while simon went about it as a the usual dick that he is, he did touch on something true. She is talented in her profession but seems to not be very comfortable with herself. And i dont think its the performing in public that makes her that way i think its just her, she is too hard on her self i feel. But she is hot, talented and should keep going wherever she is now. Notice how she drew back from Dec when he touched her wrist. Not nice. But then, pretty girls never make it to the finals on BGT but there are always male dancers or acrobats. Remember Escala? They had real talent and worked hard all their lives to develop it but in spite of that George Sampson and those 2 Indian guys got in. It's the girls in the viewing audience who have the last word.
