They should educate people in schools and remind them that cold sore are just oral herpes. It is an STD.

Oral herpes is HSV-1, and genital herpes is HSV-2. They are both in the herpes family, and can be contracted the same ways.

I did. That's why if I ever got a cold sore, i would not kiss anyone without disclosing to them that I have HSV-1 herpes. It is a permanent disease. Once you have the virus, it stays in your system for the rest of your life.

simple cold sore to a baby is deadly. it does not have to be herpes zoster only even the herpes simplex (cold sore) IT IS SCARY. PERTUSSIS OR WOOPING COUGH IS ALSO DEADLY TO A BABY.
