    First heard him on Jazz FM in UK on Robbie Vincent show, back in late 80's.

    I love this song : full of soul and feeling.

    One of the best guitar solos I have ever heard-comes in at 4.10. After this it goes a bit downhill.

    The band is tight but there is space in the music.

    Shame about the audience.

  • All I have to say Roy Ayers was playing in front of a audience back in the 70's. You have to respect the man for loving his music and performing in front of a tough crowd. I'm sure he knew the expectation before he performed that night. Reminds me of some old movies back in the day. I bet he broke some barriers until this day which new artists needs to appreciate! This is a very good song that I remember growing up listening to in the back seat of my parents car!

  • With all due respect!!! I luv this artist & I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ayers in Emeryville, Ca.& I can only say he is truely a gift and for him to play this tribrute to Miles Davis is also a gift!

    I've always wished I could've heard Mr. Miles Shelby Dewey Davis perform live...I am greatful for the 'Man With The Horn' & 'The Man With The Vbbes'!!!

  • I HAVE GOT to see Roy in concert before he stops touring or worst, passes away (he'll be 70 in Sept. 2010). I've been a HUGE fan of this man since I first heard this song as a 15 year old back in the summer of '76. This is one of my all-time favs. I was out to dinner with my daughter tonight (Christmas Eve) and have this track on one of his Greatest Hits CDs. I was listening to this in the car, my daughter told me that Incognito did a remake, one thing led to another and here I am. LOVE THIS
