He just turned 22 years old. This summer he lead the US to the FIBA Championship. The US could have won it without any player except for him. Because of this I think it's safe to say that he passed Kobe Bryant as the second best player in the world this summer. LeBron is a better player simply because his defense is superior to KD's right now. But that could change in a season or two. KD has so much upside.
