It was sooooo funny, that before the tournament Alistair/Badr/Remy caught all the attention to themselves. that one of them will win the title. and, frankly speaking, made quite a show... So even bookmakers believed that the victory will be made by them... While Semmy was just sitting silently at press conferences, training and achieving his best shape in lif and... ultimately won the tournament, absolutely perfectly...

Yeah, my mistake, by odds makers it was 4/11th for Semmy, 1/3rd for Alistair and 1/4th for Badr...

Its just that by other questions fighters and experts most of them mentioned Badr or Alistair....

hmmm... i`ve just thought that it seems like the only top-fighters against whom Semmy hasn`t fought yet are Alistair Overeem, Mirko Crocop and... Melvin Manhoef (though he might need a ladder:))

cro cop is not a top fighter anymore man and im talking k1 not mma cop cop stopped with k1 years ago, melvin would be destroyed in 20 seconds, alistair could have a chance i guess. The only people with a chance against semmy are tall, skillfull strong opponents. Badr vs semmy 3 badr could win. remy has a chance, ghita did well against him, possibly zimmerman... Semmy's size,reach and power is a massive hurdle for any fighter

There was an interview where Mirko said that before retiring, besides 2 scheduled UFC fights, he d like to make 1 more fight by K-1 rules... And anyway, he s the same age as Semmy...

I`m thinking if there could be a very agile fighter who could simply avoid most of Semmys punches and kicks... Something like David Haye did against Valuev.... But most of K-1 heavyweights are so straight-forward, and since Badr Hari established this trend in may, everyone seems to follow the same berserk tactics..
