  • I want Jean dujardin to be on ellen !

He really deserves it , I really support him and also record a song in French as a tribute to

him and the artist on my youtube channel :D

    Vive la france : ) ( Forgive my english I'm french )

  • @MsChamallow,this is a French movie, a point of view of French director (married to Ms. Bejo, look wikipedia) create in US territory, with French and American actors (John Goodman,James Cromwell and Penelope Ann Miller),what else?

Ho... I remember, the only contribution for obtain oscars : Mr Harvey Weinstein

If Americans must hate someone, it's Mr Weinstein, he proposed the Oscars to the artist movie,at the Cannes Film Festival 2011.

    Who else?

  • Discussion that exciting ...

It is 6:14 pm in France, I'll order a pizza and a beer (pizza-frogs of course, hahahaha!)

I'm laughing, thank you for you comments. :D

  • Bitch She intentionally forgot the name of the actor then she gives its support to the dog for an Oscar ...BITCH ! And I'm sure she does not know why the american majority hates the French. This is because of DeGaule. A man who has opposed the American empire ... is ever since this time that america hates France.

That BITCH has some hating against french for sure...This is not because America. has liberated France from Germany that the united states have any rights over France ...

  • Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Wimphrey success owes a lot to the amount of low IQ red necks in America. Careful I am not suggesting all Yanks are retards, not at all. John Stewart's Daily Show certainly is one of the most clever interviewers around. But that's the thing in US, when it goes low, it goes abysmal. If Dujardin was to make another TV show it would have to be in Stewart's.

  • It does not really matter in fact, Berenice is the pleasant result of two cultures. Whereas Ellen is just plain whether American or Greek, she is most likely the result of a bag of spanners bonking the back of a bus.

  • Berenice is as Argentinian as Ellen Degenerez is Greek. Eur someone said Mel Gibson was Australian, by blood I guess because I am pretty sure he was born in Brooklyn NY. The difference here is thin though, same language, similar culture. Argentina and France are only distant relatives by comparison. Yet, her English sounds more French to me than Spanish, she does not have that typical Argentinian way of pronouncing R and S but you can spot the French way. Zi Frenche wouai!

  • Well her surname is Argentinian, but she's clearly more French in her way to be, to speak and to think. I would even go as far as saying she is totally Parisian for those who have watched her in other movies and on French television. It is normal; It is like David Trezeguet, they both lived much longer in France than Argentina, she was so young she would only remember Argentina from her close family and recent travels maybe.

  • WO HO.. SHE IS ARGENTINIAN!..!

  • she is beautiful i swear

  • They win the Oscars! Yeah! I and wished that they would win!

  • I need to see The Artist!

  • Why are you fighting about if she is Argentinian or French? She is Argentinian-French, born in Argentina and naturalized in France as spent her life there, so double nationality and where is the problem? Emma Watson is born in Paris, and grew up there until 5 years old, then moved to England, nobody says she is French, so wtf...

  • She was in A Knight's Tale, as the lady in waiting to Jocelyn, the girl Heath Ledger was chasing... It bugged me that the men were falling all over themselves for Jocelyn as if this girl was an ugly duckling compared to her...So wrong!

  • @siobanethier Thanks for the info

  • She is from Argentina

  • I'm 18 and I thought "The Artist" was a fine film but quite boring. But Berenice made me finish it ;)

  • bon ! a quand Jean Dujardin chez Ellen mmm? Alleeeez!!!

  • you were from where?

     ....yara yara...

    eeh OK. Bitch

  • I want Jean Dujardin to be on Ellen !

  • @charlieMKC yeaaah me too!

  • Comment removed

  • @charlieMKC WE want Jean to be on Ellen! EVERYONE WANTS HIM!

  • @clawbytes She's not french, she's argentine.

  • @zodyce She's born in aregentine .. it doesn't mean she's not french ! She lived there all his life.

  • @lylorebo Emma Watson didnt come from a french family and wasnt raised by french parents. Berenice Bejo grew up in France but she's argentine. Just as russell crowe is new zealander despite being raised in Australia, or Naomi Watts is english despite being raised in Australia, or Mel Gibson is australian despite being raised in the US.

  • @zodyce So to you afro-americans aren't americans, but africans ? I have to disagree with your logic. See, my parents are from a russian and ukrainian background, but I grow up here in france, this is my culture, I am french - A french girl with a russian/ukrainian ethnic background. And like me (and hundred of thousands of other french people) Bérénice is a french girl with a different ethnic background. Her parents are argentines, yes, but she is french. Welcome to the modern world my friend.

  • Comment removed

  • Gorgeous Berenice! I haven't watched your movie, but you're great that's for sure.

  • Her parents are from Argentina.

    She was born in Argentina.

    Just raised in France.

Argentine-French because she is naturalized .

  • Makes me laugh when you see Elle Degeneres being so nice when she was one of the loudest French basher around during the invasion of Irak. That girl masters the art of switching sides quite easily...

  • @BonuxCouleur Wait what??? I love Ellen, and I also happened to be French, really was she? I'm quite surprise!

  • @LillieJes in one of her TV show she went as far as comparing French people to dogs. Thinking of her as a lesbian (meaning part of a community that suffered many discriminations) I would have thought she would be more tolerant but she proved to be opportunistic by jumping in the band wagon. Those kind of people make democracy weaker. In other times she would support black listing against jews, gays or whoever disagreing with the power in place. She is the definition of cowardice.

  • @BonuxCouleur So you think because just Ellen was against the decisions France (the country and the people in charge there) made in Irak, she should be an asshole to French people? Or call an actor to her show just to bash her home countries politics? She's being nice because she respects Bejo as an actor and a guest, she's not just faking it for the show.

  • @Chaperture I have never said Ellen Degeneres "should be an asshole to French people", I am saying she has been an asshole to French people by calling them dogs on air. She's being nice because every other TV chanels want the guys from The Artist, it is only a business, there is no respect involved with that kind of people. Faking is an art on TV, an art which the likes of Degeneres masters perfectly. There is nothing meaningful, for her Bejo is the sensation of the month.

  • @BonuxCouleur What she said against the French during the war in Irak and the France's veto ?

I never heard anything about that...

  • @norskasbj1 French bashing was on at that time but not every American went for it. Degeneres followed the likes of Fox News because she is butt-kissing media mogul Rupert Murdoch (Mister Democracy as the English department of Justice found out). Murdoch orchestrated most of the French bashing (and still does) in US and UK mostly due to the fact Canal + and Vivendi Universal gave his empire some rough time. Courageous actors such as Clooney disaproved the war and publically stated so.

  • @BonuxCouleur The French-bashing don't began with the war in Irak...every English speaking countries inclunding UK, Australia, NZ, Canada (except Québec) and the US have a strong ressentiment against France. It's probably the heritage of the hatred from English towards the French, when those lands were under the English domination...

Btw Jean Dujardin and Marion Cotillard in 2008 are almost the only French who won an oscar, whereas lot of English people have received this awards.

  • Emma Watson left Paris when she was 5, but do we say she's french? no, she's british. She grew up in England. Same thing for Berenice Bejo, she grew up in France

  • @lylorebo The important thing is not what you think or Opinen, or what they think the French and the Argentines. What is valuable and important is what she feels about their roots, which are undoubtedly Argentina. She said in many reports that feels Argentina but grew up in France, but the way Argentina. She is at home with their other siblings, grandparents and nephews. There are different cases of emigrants can not be generalized.

  • I fell in love with her in The Artist...she is magic

  • She's born in Argentina. She IS argentinian.

  • @xgetcraazy Well considering that she moved to France at age three, any charm she knows would be from France, for that is where she grew up. So she is French with Argentinian background.

  • @xgetcraazy I'm sure she Identifies with being more French, because that is where she grew up. Yes, she is of Argentinian backround but SHE IS FRENCH!

  • She IS french, although boorn in Argentina. She left Argentina at the age of 3.

Il love this actress and this movie. I really hope tonight will be a great night!

  • Vamo Argentina carajo

  • BON !

  • The barge Luciole crew had an outing to the cinema to see 'The Artist' it was as the French would say 'formidable'. We recommend the film to everyone - good luck at the Oscars!

  • Beautiful argentinian!!

  • Jean Dujardin !!!YOOHOO!!! Both of them are great !!!

  • @mimifleurdemonoi And the dog too...

  • I LOVE her in The Artist! She is so charming! Are all French women like this? If so, I would move to France right away.

  • @clawbytes She's also Argentinean, you know.

  • @FernandoLuis191 But French ;)

  • @irakfrance12 Argentina has the most beautiful people in the world. The right amount of Spaniards, Italians, French.

  • @FernandoLuis191:) Maybe but anywhere in the world , they have beautiful people ! :)

  • @clawbytes Not all the french, but there's a lot like her, yes :)

  • @clawbytes She's from Argentina..

  • @clawbytes Oui elles sont toutes comme ça ! Lol

  • @annlise90 Je viens en France demain!

  • @clawbytes haha !

  • @clawbytes She's Argentinian

  • @clawbytes she's not French.she's Argentinian

  • @clawbytes she´s argentinian :)

  • @clawbytes Of course, we're all like that ! Move to France, and you'll see xD

  • @clawbytes she is latina - argentina

  • @clawbytes Berenice if from Argentina

  • @clawbytes She is from Argentina! :)

  • @clawbytes Hahaha sorry....we're not all like this :)

  • @clawbytes she's Argentinian. I live there, and girls ARE like her, a lot. ;)

  • @clawbytes She is from Argentina, the Argentines, in generating, socially, we have that character. The French are socially more closed, although we are all Latinos.

  • @TheOTRAVOLTA

But her parents moved to France because they hate living in a beaner country, nobody likes to be a beaner from argentina or mexico, although being french is just a small step up.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels Your ignorance is overwhelming. Argentina is not a country beaner, change yours certainly is, at least we have better education than your brutality shows since I am bilingual and you can not talk more than your limited language. I feel sorry and pity for your brain. Sure, if you have it. I have the luxury of answering in your language, which can not tun. Go for a walk your illiteracy in other directions

  • @TheOTRAVOLTA

Well spic now you talked out of your ass: I speak spanish. Its the only way to communicate with our hispanic gardeners and janitors who don´t have a decent grasp of the english language. Otherwise, spanish is just a useless language restricted to 3rd world people like you, unlike french and other european tongues.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels Would you respond if you were talking Spanish to me this comment in Spanish! 're pathetic!

Your every word clearly demonstrate your ignorance and resentment, your narrow-mindedness. I terminated this absurd argument, do not waste time with mongoloid

  • @TheOTRAVOLTA

Ya callese pendejo y chupeme la pija.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels Omg that's a little bit hard! I from Argentina, and i speak Spanish.. so your comment is awful! Be careful with your words, you don't know how the life can treat you.. one day you are the boss and the other.. you can be the maid! I think there's something missing in your soul and its humility! And oh ps: Ignorant person... If you do read scientific magazines you will realize that in 2030 the ENTIRE world will be speaking chinese and spanish! and That is a fact sir

  • @jimeca

Wow. In 2030 the entire world will be a backward 3rd world dump who only speak 3rd world languages? Including America? I´m glad the world ends in 2012 then. I won´t get to see that living hell.

PS: Anyway, don´t you have some white men house to clean or lawn to take care of, spic? stop wasting your time in the internet (which was invented by english speakers by the way.-..so you better kiss our asses and thank us for it)

  • @ScourgeofInfidels Haha No i don't have any house to clean because im a doctor so.. you better not travel here and get sick... my darling! And.. Let's hope 2012 find you and take you to the other side my love! Regards!

  • @ScourgeofInfidels no one deserve to get insulted for speaking another language than you do. Face it : you are not superior, most americans are NOT like you for you're just a poor, lonely, stupid jerk.

Facts you need to know about "third world languages" 1) a

  • @ScourgeofInfidels 1) Chinese litterature and poetry is the most proficient in the world, and has more than 4 thousand years of existence. If you're smart enough to imagine the world from their point of view, you'd better know that they have the exact same temptation to feel culturally superior to anyone, witch is not less stupid (no one is), but at least they have more than 250 years of history, Hemingway and Walt Disney (trolling).

  • @ScourgeofInfidels 2) Do you just realize that 5 to 10 million spanish people built an US-sized empire all over the 16 century, and how rich is their litterature ? Does the name of Garcia Lorca rings a bell ? As for south america, Borges, Neruda, Allende ? While you american people (don't worry, we'll follow you) are slowly letting your country turning into an oligarchy, they are embracing democracy you stole them for 150 years.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels 3) Are you aware of the social situation of your own country ? A few states away, in mississipi, life expectancy is way lower than south america's average. You don't care about it, right ? because you're god damn not concerned. I have the pleasure to inform you that the likes of you ARE turning this world into a living hell, and that the whole western world expresses its disdain for you.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels 4) You are ignorant and culture-centered : that's ok, just do what stupid people should always do, shutting your mouth up. Get knowledge and be curious, study, acknowledge your mistakes and then come back and speak.

Btw, the purpose of learning a foreing language is not to insult people and give them orders, so I'm sorry but you don't speak spanish. You spit some spanish words you're not worthy of.

  • @TheFreakshowCircus

Shut up you cheese eating frog, do you think we care abut your socialist garbage and comunist writers here in America? just stop talking out of your ass, surrender like the french pussy you are and maybe I´ll forget about your insolence.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels That is so miserable I won't even answer. Stop making youtube a shithole and get a life.

Sincerely hope you're trolling, and last comment from me.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels 5) you and your likes are the main reason why so many people detest america. Please stop making me cry everytime I read youtube comments.

  • @ScourgeofInfidels Are you fucking kidding me? this is the most retarded thing I've read

  • Elle est craquante. Pfiouuuu.

  • @harryrocks44 OUAIIII grave

  • @harryrocks44 Je suis d'accord

  • duh! ellen oggie visited you once remember?!

  • Berenice, beautiful and very ingenuous and charming. And Ellen is so beside herself with delight describing this film that she brushes away a tear.

People, go see this film, and you will understand.

  • Ellen was tripping up on her words. Can't say I wouldn't do the same...

  • very beautiful

  • Just got home from seeing the film. Wow. I loved it. As a huge fan of silent/early '30s cinema (and I'm 23), I thought it was one of the most moving homages I'd ever seen, but like Ellen said, even people who haven't really seen/don't think they'd like silent film should go see it. After a while, I forgot that it was a silent movie and was just totally invested in the characters and what happened to them. Beautiful picture, great tribute to the classics. Long live the old ways of movie making!

  • @charibylla I did not say she doesn't look like a normal french girl, but she's still argentinian because she is unique as she probably has heritage from various countries and maybe even some american indian blood which is different from someone purely french even if you cannot see it

  • @charibylla You don't know anything about history. The main ethnic groups in Argentina are Spanish and Italian and then German and French, not 40% like you say. You claim you cannot look "argentinian" because their heritage is of various different european countries, that is like saying you can't look English because the population comex from a mixture of german saxons and franc and gaulls from france. Idiot. Sum1 who is 100% french will prob not look the same as someone who is ital/fren/spa/ger

  • Oh my god, I keep watching interviews of her, her husband Michel, and Jean and I can't get over how humble all three of them are. And The Artist was sooo incredible, I hope all of you see it, it's probably the only time these last couple generations can experience something like that in a theatre with an audience. GO WATCH IT!!!!

    Autre chose?

  • @FManonC Aaaaah ! c'est génial , merci beaucoup :)

  • @moapuceify De rien , n'hésite pas ;)

  • her husband.. wrote it? ;)

  • @aussietwihard Yes her husband Michel Hazanaviscus wrote it ! We're so happy here in France :)

  • @aussietwihard Michel Hazanavicius and Bérénice Bejo are together since OSS 117 "Le Caire, nid d'espions". They are married and have two children. Nice people.

  • It's so strange to see her everywhere now like on an american show such as this one. Time flies.

  • I agree with LIlooFifi ! For me she is just French, only her heart is Argentine (I love my sentence lol). By the way The Artist is just AWESOME !

  • I don't see the point of her nationality

ok she was born in Argentina, she has Argentines parents and I'm sure she likes her native country BUT she was raised in France, with the French culture, studied there, lives there and take part of the French politic by voting. She is BOTH Argentina and French and it's very good like this why would she has to choose, this is just stupid !!

  • pfffff the same shit than in france im agree eerywhere in world the same problem of identity

but it was funny a guy who have a country with 70% italian who come in 3 times in 50 years max and who are communautair exogame familly to think argentinian is a race of mix

obscurentisme everywhere but what make me crazy

it the same in argentina apparently it crazy it the result of a politic that all

  • i think that berenice bejo is better than dujardin ( good too ) in the movie the artist . i love how she plays in the movie .
