Let's just get something straight about Linkin Park here. Just because A Thousand Suns is completely different to anything they have ever done before, it does NOT mean they're sell outs. That album is far from mainstream, and if you actually listen to it properly, you'll realise that. People have to face that they have evolved as a band, and they don't want to keep making Hybrid Theory over and over. They make the music THEY enjoy, so just respect that.

People are comparing this to Wisconsin, but Wisc was a complete package. This, not so much - it's still okay, but feels perhaps rushed, or partially mastered. Nevertheless, still good to have new music coming

Linkin Park have never made bad music. They just haven't stayed the same, they've evolved to broaden their audience and fans of nu-metal now label them as "shit" (which they're not). People who can't adapt to change are the same people that said Static-X' last album was shit. It wasn't, it just required a certain musical taste to be able to listen to it. There is no such thing as bad music, just what people think is bad music (with the exception of "Friday" - Rebecca Black).
