if money is no concern, i'd choose a custom harp (Harrison etc). If money is an issue...Special 20's can be nice out of the box...but most harmonicas out of the box are not consistent

how are you manipulating your mouth to achieve such dramatic tonality? the wah-wah vocal imitation is just so well articulated

Ronnie is actually combining excellent control of his breath via well practiced control of his diaphram in combination with a highly refined hand wah technique. His ability to brighten tone combined with rythmic fluttering is a result of dedicated practice and it really makes his playing stand out. He is an excellent teacher and his videos can teach you to emulate much of his tone with a little practice. He stresses working your diaphram because that is where the richest tones come from.

You set the mood really well with this interprtation; when I started out, I had Amazing Grace as practice for single note playing, and I can tell ya, it sounded nothing like this. Even without the video to see your expressions, you can tell by the music you really put feeling into your playing.

You don`t have to be an American to love Amazing Grace.It`s the theme song for anyone who loves the Lord and has discovered that there is more to love and life than this shallow world in which we live.
