  • I have a faster method for that. If the last number is 6 or higher, round it up to the nearest 10, otherwise I don't round the number at all.

    For 11 * 58, I change the problem to 11 * 60, but I remember the '8'

Then, I multiply the numbers to get 660

And finally, I subtract 22 from the answer and get 638

    I remember the following: '9' means -11, '8' means -22, '7' means -33, and '6' means -44

  • i learnt this at school

  • I cannot believe you would not change it after knowing you made the mistake of 2 + 3 = 6! I mean come on, edit before you post!

  • @Kathyhess1 try multiplying, not adding...

  • If you want it to be a secret then why did you post it on Youtube?

  • this secret will really change my math

  • doesn't have to be only one or two digits... it can be any digits times 11 and still be very easy to do... here's how.. any number times 11, the ones place will always be the same and the just add the ones place to the tens, tens to hundreds and so on( or should I say, start from right to left). example... 1234567x11= 13580237( the ones place is 7, 7+6 is 13, you write down the 3 and carry 1, 5+6=11 add 1 is 12, put down the 2 and carry one.... and just keep going... get the idea???

  • thanks it helped
