I was in high school and had such a crush on a girl that I was too shy to ask out! She one one of the prettiest girls I ever laid eyes on! Damn I could kick myself!
Back in the late 80's,a guy at work told me Jackie Wilson was laid to rest in an unmarked grave at Westlawn Cemetary in Wayne,Mi.Being a bit soul music fan from Detroit,I could not believe it.I drove to the cemetary and yes,by the SE entrance, was Jackie's unmarked grave right next to his mother's unmarked grave.I was appalled such a great singer would suffer this indignity. As fate would have it,a local guy had already raised money for a beautiful above ground vault for hwer and his mother.
@4CRTN Thanks 4CRTN! Haters never cease to amaze me - haven't they got anything better to do? By all means criticise but never be rude. There's better things in life to be doing than be rude to people. Many thanks for your comment and happy holidays!
@LLeluco1 You don't like full sentences either apparently. Although you are rather fond of exclamation marks, which is nice. May I suggest you don't listen (I hope you paused it whilst writing the comment too). Cheers.

Not that it will matter to most here--but Jackie Wilson admitted several times in interviews that HE copied his stage moves from Presley---look it up!

Hey, I like it. I like remixes and it keeps these classics alive. Have always liked that strong beat so whatever. Wilson was THE MAN. Love that voice, those moves... I say go for it! :)
@avacack Cheers for the comment. You're right, I did basically just stick some drum samples on, beef up the bass and a couple of little bits. I didn't even double the speed - the song is already DnB speed. Doubling the drums up did make the song better, at least in my opinion, obviously I would've have bothered otherwise. @kevynewman Thanks very much. To be honest I only did it as a sort of joke - I've did a DnB remix of Lionel Richie's Dancing On The Ceiling and played it to a few mates who enjoyed it. I happened to be DJing at a house party a week later so the morning of the party I knocked this up to play as part of my set, with the Lionel Richie track. As it happens it went down a storm, so I figured I post it on here.
@kevynewman It's already up - see Lionel Richtea in my videos. There's a Cardigans Lovefool remix (kind of a glitch beat thing, it's about two years old, I might try a Dubstep version and a swing/jazz/weird remix of Jimmy Ruffin's What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted up on here too if your interested.
Thanks again for the comment, I really appreciate it.
Ha ha, thanks for the comment. Bongos are nearly always a good idea I think. You're right about messing with the beat and I need to sort the bass out somehow too. I'm not very good at bass lines.

Hi sorry it Sounds pants....
sounds like someone has just turned on a drum machine in the back ground twice the speed with no feel whatso ever.
doubling up the drum wont make the song better,
its just overpowering the song, too in your face and totally grooveless, same goes for the bass,
i know it was only a bit of fun, try a less bizzy drum patten,
its always going to be hard to to make grate songs greater,

Motown is ALL about the bass line....

man you saw the light when you added the bongo's. Maybe some more messing around with the beat repeat ?

Ha ha, thanks for the comment. Bongos are nearly always a good idea I think. You're right about messing with the beat and I need to sort the bass out somehow too. I'm not very good at bass lines.

Nah the four note bass riff is what makes the song so good but maybe a little less resonance for some parts of the song.
