  • heaven sound

  • damn it this is a good song, just listened to it the third time in a row..good shit, good shit

  • That's like a 3:57 orgasm...

  • could we get higher on music with srv/the master ever...?

  • I've just listened to this 4 times through. Amazing.

  • the sky wasnt the only one crying the day we lost stevie, what an artist-he loved that guitar and it loved him back, thank you Mr. Vaughan

  • @hotrod71sj he was the only reason why i started playing guitar he is my idol i would do anything to have met him.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great jazz lesson for an up and coming guitarist

  • @BliXxMorGrahZz blues

  • Oh man...he's pickin that guitar on this song. SRV and the blues.

  • Let he music talk..

  • rivals 'tracks and lines' by Clapton. Best slow blues instrumental ever.

  • one of his best!

  • Love it

  • i may be wrong, but that definitely ain't no strat.....

  • @bluesguitardude Sure it's not a Strat Neck pup, tone knob rolled back through a tube screamer with the gain rolled back? Just a theory ;)

  • @ndguy13243546 even though your theory makes sense, note that the tone sounds too "fat" to be a strat... also, the guitars sounds too woody...

  • @bluesguitardude Perhaps you're right... Who knows? I've seen pics of him w/ other guitars, so it's not out of the practical range of possibilities. Stevie could play anything and make it kick serious ass. The tone was 99.99 percent him and .01% gear if you ask me. I've seen him take a strat into some pretty strange places tone wise. He was a master of dynamics, phrasing, and tone; in the end it's the indian, not the arrow, and really it is the music and people that matter. Peace

  • @ndguy13243546 wise words my friend, wise words.

  • @bluesguitardude i disagree it's a strat for sure neck and middle pickup with tone tone knob rolled down

  • @satire123456 in the original liner notes, they said that they actually routed the guitar through an hammond organ to achieve that "jelly like sound."

  • @satire123456 no actually your wrong this song is played with a different guitar

  • aahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....sexy!

  • To all of you who don't know, this was originally done by Kenny Burrell. I believe it was recorded by him in the late '50s or early 60's..

  • (Laughs.!!) ...it's like yous guys are talkin' like he just came out w/ this yesterday.

  • @EvilDan71

It feels like it sometimes though.

  • I can never believe this song exist!!!! PERFECTION

  • like the jazzy feel, its something different fom what SRV usually plays, and its definitely a good change!

  • this song changes the whole idea of guitar playing and emotion

  • really an underexposed song. One of his greatest, even if its a cover.

  • @l0lercaust

This is a cover? i thought it was the real thing

  • it's stevie ray vaughan, but (like many stevie songs) its a cover of a classic song. Kenny Burrell did the original chitlins con carne.

  • sooo groovy

  • YEA!!

  • YEA!!

  • Such a great song such feeling thanx for posting
