Freedom to Flourish is an embarrasing slogan invented to try an make peoples head on the island grow bigger. All it actually means is that companies pay less tax. To the ordinary man on the street (who lap it up, believeing it actually means something and makes them better than the rest if the world) is that they pay less tax so their very high cost of living on lower average wage (when you adjust the scew created by MHK's) is better. The island is a dump, there is no "freedom"

For what its worth (otherwise ignoring those comments), the island is a shithole and the "freedom to flourish" is just something to make Manx people even more blindly patriotic and proud of their horrible, horrible island. They thinks it posh and terribly nice, but Douglas is like a rough Manchester suburb, Ramsey is like a rundown depressing seaside town. The rest of the island is ok in parts, but no better than the mainland. IoM=dump
