anyone please help: i need like EXACTLY this case the only difference is that i need to fit a 12'' mixer (numark 5000fx) in instead of a djm 400
please help i really need a case but the only one that is available in my country is a zomo and it doesn't have wheels and all the stuff includeing a big case is to heavy to carry around
ok, been looking for cases for the gear and I have come to realize that I am confused on the size to get. Do the cases usually go by width, height or depth. I have a cdj 200, behringer dx626 mixer and a stanton 3.14
ive got the road ready plycase dor djm 600 and cdj 800
and the case was 6 months outdoor under a tree and wen my fiend give to me the buterflys steal closing , offcourse whit a bit of oxid de only thing was the intirior the sides were come out but stuck it again
Be aware I have this style of case. With all my gear in the airline would not except it because it was above the max weight limit(I had to put by mixer in another suitcase at the airport which was dodgy). They are great cases but buying separate cases for each piece of gear is perhaps better if you are planning on flying with your gear.
Hello, I have a pair of CDJ-400 and a DJM-800, could you help me finding a case that would fit this kit from this manufacturer? I could not find this info in their site. They just make bigger cases for CDJ-1000 or 800 and DJM-800. Shame on right? Great work dude. I will post my tenminmix video soon. Cheers.
It's a very sloppy fit.....your gear will bounce around inside it!
I have 2 Numark TTX USB turntables, a Pioneer DJM909 mixer and my Serato Scratch Live box stashed underneath and it all fits in very snuggly...much better than this one (and heavier due to the bigger gear inside)
It has the holes between sections and removable panel at the front of the mixer also.....pretty standard....except I had to cut the padding a little to fit the TTX's in (they're bigger than 1200's)
Do you honestly think i would put a set of cdj's in here with the chance of them bouncing around??, once the top is on , they are going no where!! thanks j
why are you getting nef feedbacks, i think you are right. its a sloppy fit.
Those cases are made in china, very very cheap.
I've been building cases for over 15 years. I check one of those out, its not that great, no stapples in the aluminium, cheap rivet, not even multi-grip, the hardware especially the latches are poorly made.
Maybe they bought the same cheap case and took it personally?
Even if there is room for you gear to move just a little, once there is pressure on top (from the rubber in the lid) it will apply a large amount of unwanted force on sliders and knobs!
Would you push your faders against their direction of travel when using them......hell no.....unless you were getting paid to destroy them!
I dont know, we found that these cases come from : Foshan Nanhai Huasen Metalwork Factory or maybe another one.
We will be buying one and dissassembling it to analyse its materials and construction.
The way we build them is quite simple : we put 1/2" or 1" Esterfoam (dont use Etherfoam, i turns green in a few months, it starts to crumble, and smells bad) around and on the bottom of the unit, for the top, we install it around the buttons. The buttons themselves should be free.
zombiesonar; Yes, i know they do. I have a DJM600 + turntables case.... but its seriously heavy! I don't see what you mean there? Ok mine's made by KAM not Roadready, but its a 2 man lift really.

I use the RRDJCD10W case. It doesn't have that cool wire cover plate in the back like yours.
Mine fits CDJ1000/CDJ800, DENON DNS 5000/DNS 3000/DNS3500, TECHNICS SL-DZ1200 OR STANTON.
Road Ready and Oddesey
I currently gig with the Stanton player and have couple of SL-DZ1200's on my wish list, it's perfect for me.
Though I drilled a whole on the bottom to run cables through.
Road Ready and Odyssey seem to be the same quality to me.

i got the same flight case for the CDJ-80s. worth the money. i can take my stuff to gigs all in the one box.

Hey, something Ive really wanted to know,
do the flight cases that specify 'fits 2x CDJ 200's and 1 x DJM 400' also fit 2 x CDJ 400's instead of the 200's?
I guess the question Im really asking is are the CDJ 400's and 200's the same dimensions? Or do I have to find a case designed for 400's?
Thank

Yes, the CDJ-400s will fit (in the Road Ready cases anyway). I have my CDJ-400s in a RR case designed for CDJ-200s.

i got one tip to give you : Dont ship your case by plane, you will get a very unfortunate surprise.

Why's that?
marc4859 3 years ago
because its cheap. I'm not sure it meets ATA-300 requirements ,checK it out, if you can find it :

The reason I said thanks for this vid is to see the level of quality (sharp or burred metal bits, insulation and features).

I can lift mine quite easily into and out of the car.....it has wheels for any in between bits as well.
Don't let the weight deter you, just harden the fuck up!
