I,ve been a fan of Joy Division as well as Cocteau twins for years and this is my first time hearing this amazing sound and band....Thanks for this post!
This band wasn't known in my country, even Cocteau Tins are known to few people here. I feel I have lost half of my life, where were they when I needed this music? :(
Chris Sievey (Frank Sidebottom) died 10 days after this singer. Seems more and more artist from that area are dying. I guess that's life. Not everyone lives the average age of 75. Kind of sad. Cancer took Chris's life but this guy died from liver problems. I wonder if it was related to his youthful years in a pub.. Assuming he even drank.
@coptersoisoi Think he did have a drink and drugs problem as in a statement about his death said he died sober. I saw Frank Sidebottom 3 weeks before he died supporting John Cooper Clarke, it was a good laugh but you could tell he was struggling to breathe then.
