Then notice how when the song starts, the volume level of Gunther's vocal drops noticably, and there is suddenly a lot of reverb effect and an entirely different texture to his voice as compared to his voice when he is introducing himself prior to the music. Notice how he turns away from the audience as the song begins to conceal a possible miscue.
