Pretty sad when a country/culture/society decides what looks good/nice/hot/in/acceptable, etc. Since when does it involve body image? The majority of people (yes, even in America) are NOT totally smooth. So by declaring body hair to be undesirable, "dirty," or worse, it not only excludes a LOT of people (who then develop poor self-images and/or deal with rejection with plastic surgery / Botox / waxing, etc.; you have to deal with the psychological trauma it causes. Honestly man, I am tired of shaving. I'm 25, been doing it for a long time, or what seems to be a long time. Granted I like the way clean skin feels. Unfortunately it gets old, shaving the legs, underarms, bikini area, plucking the eyebrows, and nipple hair, getting rid of the knuckle air. I am no more hairy than any other girl, but being a natural brunette, it tends to be noticable. So yes, society needs to easy off us women. Now a days it's not even acceptable to go unshaven on the crotch.

I HATE it, I will wax my eyebrows, trim the downstairs, but even that I hate. As to the legs, I'll often let it go until its catching in my jeans, but I don't wear shorts or short skirts, so I can't see how it bothers anyone else.
