Cosmic Chaos is fun but not as fun as Flying Carpet. Cosmic Chaos squeezes you against the dam seat and then when your in the seat while its spinning it crushes you even more and you wanna puke!

i loved this ride. one of the best kennywod ever had. i used to ride it like 15 times a day. one time i decided to put my hands up (dumb move) and punched a guy in the back of the head. he was so mad. i thought i was gonna get beat up. it was funny though. good memories

This was a fantastic ride. I'm realyl gald and lucky I got to ride it in it's last season as it was my first time to Kennywood on it's last year. Only model like this left is at Busch Gardens Europe now. Davincci's Cradle I believe.

I redesigned the controls in 2001 to bring them up to modern day standards. My original idea was to apply a motion controller to the 200hp drive attached to the carriage. However that fell through when I realized that 200hp was not enough to accurately position the carriage. So I reconfigured the controls for an 'open loop' control. I.E. 'Pumping' the carriage up with the help of gravity. I was the first to ride after the upgrade. It was a great ride. Sad to see it was dismantled.

That was my favorite ride at kennywood and they put the dumb cosmic chaos where it use to be. Im going to Waldameer mark tomarow and they have a bigger version of this ride so i cant wait cuz it will make me think of kennywood. This was always the fisrt ride i rode when i went there and i got on it like 10 times a day lol....I miss this ride so much.

...that was after riding the Roll-O-Plane and the Wipeout...I never rode those rides again either. I remember having to sit down for almost 30 minutes before I could ride again, and I was only 25! A few years ago I was riding a kiddieland ride with my niece & nephew, the spinning teacup ride, and almost got sick, I had to close my eyes. Damn do I feel old! Don't you just love those Kennywood Memories? lol

I haven't been to Kennywood in several years, but this was one of my favorite rides. I'm really going to miss it. They seemed to have changed it. I definitely remember it used to swing back and forth a few more times than in this video before it would get all the way around. The ride seems so rushed in the video. I must have been lucky to ride it in it's pre-breakdown era, because it was always working when I was there. Gave great butterfiles in your stomach, too. I loved it!

Well, Kennywood doesn't have it anymore. They took it out to put in Cosmic Chaos (which is a much better ride in my opinion). This is a pretty standard amusement park ride, having debuted in Kwood in 1989. I'm sure there are more around then just one or two.

This Flying Carpet was so awesome. I rode it in 2005 and was blown away. It was so fast! I'll miss it a lot when I visit again in 2008. It was apparently a maintenance nightmare to keep running though. Too bad. It was such a great ride.
