This song is awesome, and the image is epic! I just used to sit and gaze at that image, which I believe was on the cover of the UO:R release. This was when a good connection was seldom and plenty of time was given to gaze, just like that, while waiting for the login screen to complete.

Seriously, it's hard to comprehend the impact this game had on my life, not as it changed anything, but it gave me the deepest feeling of emotions I've ever felt.

I have all these songs downloaded on my computer, including the gears for the music box. These songs are the only ones that I have really given appreciation to from composed music. And its probably what made my in-game experience most encouraging. I haven't played the game in a while, although recently, a newly community free server was made with an entirely new map (all other maps ditched; no more felucca, trammel, ilshenar, malas, or tokuno). Check out UO:Revelation. Oh, and no mounts either.

actually scabia, number of subscriptions is only a small part of the equation. the budget for darkfall was much smaller than age of conan's, and therefore they would need far less subscriptions to be considered profitable, or in other words, successful.

Darkfall is a step in the right direction but far more could be done. I played for the first few months and then became extremely bored with lack of activity. This coming from a guy who solo pked quite often (ironically the Aesir guild haha) : ) I dont want it to fail but I hope something better comes along with a true sand box feel to it. Darkfall just didnt have it.

@panzertrance The classic days of the early online games. I miss them oh so much. I tried WoW and others, but it just didn't thrill me like this game did. it was so complex yet so easy. I wish they didn't add the Tram/Fel crap. There were pks sure, but there also were bands of vigalantes running around taking out all the reds too.
