Did they really get ruined? Their political comments helped make them on the east side of the Atalantic and earned them a lot of respect.

Agree - they lost some old fans but gained a ton of new ones in the process. Their Taking the Long Way cd won so many awards - I think that was proof that a lot of people respected their right to free speech and became familiar with some amazing music that they might otherwise never have been exposed to - out oftheir typical genre . Personally,. I think they are the best all-female group EVER - Emily and Martie are musicians extraodinaire and Natalie has a helluva voice !
