I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

wow this is splendid fun its often played around christmas time with my aunts they are very good at it. I got it perfectly free for my sony ps3 from here 115 games |.| com there are literally hundreds best thing about it is they are all totally free by the way 1:22 - 3:52 was first class

I respect the fact that forza 3 is a great game, but we all know the a Turbo engine has a blow off valve sound, in forza theres no sound of that.. different parts make the car sound different this game gives you that, forza doesnt.

game looks reallyyy nice. especially around the headlights- looks better than FM3. but "feeling" wise.... this game sucks. cars just dont slide like that and the engine mechanics are all wrong. nfs will never be a simulator, its an arcade game.

bullshit. this game is much more realistic than Forza 3. Cars dont sit in corners like in Forza. What do you mean with engine mechanics are all wrong? Its brilliant and it sounds just like the real deal.

example of the poor engine mechanics- your rpm's in the game are (from what i can tell from playing it) based completely on your throttle %. for instance, put the car in 6th gear and hold the R trigger at 50%, and the car will accelerate until you are at 50% of your rev range. so in this case, 4000rpm. then it will cruise at that speed until you change the throttle %. cars do NOT work like that in real life, at all. just sitting and revving the engine feels so un natural to what it is irl.

Remember all cars are different and 4000rpm isnt 50% of all cars throttle. Did you try this with various cars?

@JeffroGymnast yea i played this game on pro n its hard the car b movin a lil stupid ive been playin GT5 n mane that game is the best its better than this game if u want realistic preformance play GT5 i do have 2 say this game is fun wen ur puttin stuff like turbo n stuff paint but 2 me i think they 2 so hard but its not there the sound of the game is kinda good not bad but kinda good jus play GT5 and ull love it

@MrGabryPonte yep, gtr being the ideal one. gt5 prologue was a joke, i dont know if it is supposed to accurately represent gt5, but if it does, its pathetic... using X and square for accel and brake = total fail

@JeffroGymnast Sadly, it is, same for SHIFT 2, races feel a little too crazy and the cars behavior is far from real, plus all cars have a rocket sound that destroys the original melody of the engines.

@LilProveInn I found Shift 2 much more bearable. It was improved a lot over Shift 1. The collisions though were /horrible/, would send the cars flying all around the place.

you must have just got the game cuz theres no smooth driving there im afraid... i take it your on the keyboard!! :P if you actually drive a standard for REAL, think of it like that... take your time shifting down not so much brake ., let the downshift slow you down and accelerate smoothly.... you may think you'd be slower  but i think you would be surprised on your laptimes!!!
