  • May I ask what your purpose in doing this is?? Have to ask because there are 2 guys sitting on death row right now in Eddyville for killing a classmate of mine. She was in my 1st grade class & died by 8 gunshots to the back of her head at the age of 19. I AM an opponent of the death penalty but I see the comment above about 'bringing a little light into these people's lives' & I have to say that they don't deserve any light at all. Their crimes are heinous so exactly what is your purpose here?

  • @jlalewicz Do you deserve light? Why? Because you are a good person? No one is a good person. These inmates did terrible things, went to jail and got punishment. Most free people are hating people, stealing and breaking the law daily. That`s only the law. Most people won`t listen to good advise, gossip, mock etc.. only thinking about themselvers, how they can gain wealth and power. But most important; lots of people deny God and His Son Jesus. They refuse His offer and life without Him.

  • Some of the people writing comments here are very silly people. This video is to show that some people in jail are people who rebelled against the system but did bad things they regret and will, eventually, be slaughtered for by the "justice-keeping". You have no idea what this man did, and I think Krissie did not even want to know when she wrote to these people. They are real, with families and thoughts and shattered dreams. Don't judge people so easily.

  • krissie is beautiful

  • prison is a business in America. America rather spend billions of dollars on deathrow inmates, then giving a better healthcare program.

  • Wow. He sounds like a very wise, insightful person. I wonder what made him kill someone.

  • the judicial system is a joke. here in missouri for sure. my parents died when i was 26. i was immature n not ready to live on my own( pathetic ) and i barely had enough $ 4 the billz. on thanksgiving, leaving my best friends house, i swearved to miss the neighbors dog n hit their cars bumper. i was going 10-12mph. just the bumper was damaged, but i left because i had a warrant 4 an unpaid ticket, n would loose my job. well, when it all was resolved, i was sentenced to n did 3 years pen.

  • Two wrongs dont make a right

  • oh wait, incarcerated 4 times and the final is death row, man how could they do this atrocity to such a stand up model pillar of our community...he should run for president next

  • ok remember this, when they release him and he shows up at your moms house, rapes and tortures her then comes to your house rapes and kills your 4 yr old daughter, then tell me what rights he deserves.......its a different tune then isnt it...wait it just came to me.....let everyone in jail just go free a "do over" thats the answer

  • Wow. I'm listening to what you have to say. Keep doing this,I help prisoners as well.

  • Very interesting :)

  • He shouldn't get shyt. He committed a crime that involved someone dying. He should suffer. They should just hurry up and kill him. The victim's family deserves justice.

  • What crime did this guy commit to get him there?

  • this was a really cool video krissie you are really amazing to do this for these people you are truely an angel and my role model

  • o my god i believe i could find something else to waste my time on than writing to an inmate esp. 1 on death row. well after awhile they all are wrongly convicted. take in that they either killed some one or raped a woman or child or some other reason for them to be put there on death row hello is this sinking in?? cant be that lonely or depressed t. must be a family member to that inmate to try and clear his name but it probably gets old having x-mas behind a piece of glass

  • After reading some of the comments posted here, I am so glad that I come from a country that does NOT have the death penalty. Krissie, I think what you're doing is really nice. You bring a little light into these people's lives. Blessed Be.

  • How did you get the names and addresses to send them letters?

  • how big are your cans?

  • don't be so rude and actually listen to what she saying.

  • If you put all the bad people in one place then that place becomes evil,if you stay in that place to long then you become evil,a lot of convicts repeat or graduate into more serious offenses because evil places can not rehabilitate,Women who fall in love with convicts have problems because they need to be a victim I feel sorry for krissie because she thinks she's helping someone when subcontiously she needs to be a victim,Hell is real it's called prison, and the death penalty is necessary.

  • we don't care about his thoughts or opinions what if the the family he affected watched this video and recognized his age and how long his been there...people don't forget.

our death row is a joke there's a man that affected my family many many yeas ago and hes still there rotting

  • Too bad you can't question his victim(s).

  • Execute the fuck! Do you even know what he's on deathrow for? People don't get put on deathrow for nothing. I live in KY, I know how pretty loose the laws are. This guy did some serious shit! I'm telling you.

  • It doesn't mean that he's not still a person.

Even if he did do something terrible he still a someone and he is being a good person (to spite what he has done to get into jail) by donating to charity and what not.

  • he's still a human being, people make mistakes,i have forgiven someone who took my soul one night beside he wanted something from me that i didn't want to give him,i was a virgin at the time and tried to kill myself numerous times after that,if i can forgive him can't you atleast give this guy a chance,

  • Since you have so much time on your hands, did you also contact the family of this death row inmate's victim to see what kind of life they have, how they are faring after having a violent crime commited against their son, mother, daughter or father? Bet whoever this guy killed would like to feel the rain on their face too.

    Disgusting.

  • thats nice that you write to them and with your videos they kinda live on. sounds like a good guy ....what is he in 4 can you put that up next time?

  • This is the generation that is eventually going to be running things. I'm proud of them, because they actually care. My generation didn't, and look what happened. They look deeper, ask questions, and want to right the wrongs. Time and maturity will teach them the realities, let's just hope they still care after that.

  • What a drama queen. Your songs and videos are hilarious! Do you give yourself goosebumps when you speak? You have something on your chin...

  • He sounds groovy, but why don't you flesh out some of the details of his crimes and victims. People don't end up on death row for stealing candy.

  • How about a hanging in town square?

The foolish liberal trying to paint murderers as worthy of sympathy needs to hang right beside him.

Whos more dangerous-the already incarcerated criminal, or the liberal with stars in their eyes? ahhh...the left. wait til this bitch has to work for a living or is a victim herself, shell wonder how she ever cared.

Fuck her, and all the convicts too. Show me the ONE innocent who wasnt already a shitbag.

  • Poor victim on DeathRow...Hed gut, rape, and kill a vanilla little dreamer like this foolish bitch. Nice to think you know all the answers as a dumb kid, eh? Now hurry over to the global warming nuts, they need to hear about the GROWTH of glaciers this year.

  • Well?

    Electric chair or lethal injection?

  • Lol, you're writing to someone on deathrow? You're reading his letters like he's some heroic poet incarcerated because our justice system did him wrong. He's on death row for a reason.

  • this is awesome. my aunt is presently incarcerated & she writes me all the time with the stuff she does while locked up.

she's not a bad person, though, & she says most women that she's in prison with aren't. she says that everyone is more misunderstood than anything & that there are way more criminals on the outside than there is on the inside.

  • I think the death penalty should be abolished. It's sick and hypocrytical. We shouldn't punishing crimes by commiting a crime ourselves. That's what the death penalty is; murder.

I saw your capital punishment video, by the way, and I thought it was brilliant.

    Blessed Be.

  • i think its good that u write to enmates... i kno they commited a crime..and are on "death row" but their people like u and me.. whom most family's don't even speak to them anymore. i think it's a good idea! although i would never even kno where to start on writing them.. but i like it!

  • I'm Mr. Kentucky chicc!

  • krissie you seem like a verry nice girl but why write to him..thats not good..

  • this guy seems like a exception to the rule of most death row inmates. He obviously is intelligent and well spoken to the point of gaining sympathy from the reader with his very true lamentations regarding our governments power position. but that does not change the fact that he has committed a crime, and until he can be otherwise proven innocent, his banishment is just. Now, I do not condone the killing of people, even as retribution, but after 2000 years, eye for an eye still pleases masses.

  • got it, thanks

  • sounds like a good life, no expenses, bills, hassles etc

  • I dont get how in the world you would write to him, thats crazy! I thinkthe death row is a good punishment these sick fucks should not even live if they murdered someone, thats why Im glad we have a freaking prison. If they murdered, hurt someone so badly they couldnt walk they should not be shown any kind of mercy.

  • Well then, that's where you and I differ.

  • Twilightcarinikki:

If it's not okay for them to kill others, then why is it okay for the government to kill them?

  • whats the difference? can u explain this to me? Maybe the government is giving them what they deserve I would never want my family near those psyco (sp?) After they killed someone, there is a difference between whats right and whats wrong but we all have opinions so I respect what you say.I changed my mind I think they should sit in prison for the rest of their lives instead of death row...that is justice

  • @Twilightcarinikki so what the difference between you and him then? he killed someone (maybe) and you are willing to do it it to him, the only difference is he's man enough to take his punishment, unlike you who wants to hide behind the law!

  • Wow, that guy is deep...

I think it's great that you write to people like that. Even though they've done bad, they still need somebody to talk to, you know?

  • hey, maybe they shouldn't kill people, ya think?

  • Go hate somewhere else.

  • Incarcerated 4 times. Sounds innocent to you I'm sure....

  • I think that people with your love of criminals should have to house them in your own house. That makes complete sense to me. If you care enough to write them then you should live with them.

  • I Do believe in second chances, however if you murder someone in cold blood, you don't deserve to be a member of society, He may write you these letters and he may truly be sorry for the crimes he committed but the laws the law and he deserves to be punished accordingly.

  • No matter your stance on capital punishment or not, this comment was uncalled for and very offensive.

  • SCAM SCAM SCAM leave the loser alone.

  • Exactly what about this is a "scam?"

  • I've had personal dealings with some of the master minds within prison. Is it hard to believe that a person sitting on death row could't scam you for the sake of feeling better about himself-even when you initiate contact. If he's sitting on death row , why is he getting out to work, the rest of the information is just to play on your emotions, believe me, he sits in a six by three room with a metal toilet and a bed. And that's it. No need to feel sorry for him.

  • It has nothing to with emotion. Emotion was probably the main factor in his killings. But emotion has nothing to do with it from the state's perspective. It's very simple, if you can't function in life without taking other people's lives, then you don't deserve life yourself. Those sick fucks showed ZERO mercy to their victims. So why the fuck should we show mercy to them? Makes no sense whatsoever. Have sympathy for the families DESTROYED by these monsters. Not the scum that take human lives.

  • You have NO idea what the circumstances are for each and every crime. You also have NO idea how inhumane these people are treated. You also have NO idea how many INNOCENT PEOPLE are sitting on Death Row. If you were a judge, could you live with yourself knowing you sentenced an innocent person to death? You only look at this from one perspective. You have to look at it from ALL SIDES. I have plenty of sympathy for the families that suffered, but I also have sympathy for the criminal.

  • Then maybe, just maybe, next time some sick fuck is thinking about raping and murdering, he'll think to himself, "maybe I shouldn't end this person's life," cause it will be ending my life as well." And if that happens even one time, that's one life saved that would have never been saved before. You do NOT deserve life if you have stolen someone else's. Bottom line.

  • You can say what you want. But I can absolutely guarantee that if someone raped and murdered your mother, you wouldn't want this guy to live the rest of his life. Even if it's in prison. And why? Cause there would be ZERO justice in this world, if someone was allowed to end other people's lives, and still gets to live their entire life. While the poor INNOCENT victim is rotting in the ground. Every single breath that inmate takes. Is one more breath that their victims will never get to take.

  • You know what? Someone HAS raped, beaten and mugged my mother, raped another girl after breaking both of her legs, blown up a car with someone in it, and threaten to slit my throat. I still do not stand for the death penalty.

Don't tell me that my opinion would be different if I were in the situation. That is an assumption you cannot make, because you aren't me. Plus, that would be conflating justice and emotional vengeance. Emotional vengeance is NEVER right.

  • I said raped AND murdered. That's a completely different level. Your mother and that other girl are STILL breathing and living to this day. And will continue to live for years to come(probably). So once again, if your mother was murdered, I'm guessing you wouldn't want the guy to live a full long life, while your mother is rotting in the ground.

  • I completely agree with you godofhockeysteviey19

  • I can guarantee anyone who is against capital punishment, would change their tune real fast the first time some sick fuck rapes and murders one of their loved ones. IMO the only sad thing is the death penalty still isn't enough. But it's the best we can do. Some sicko who rapes and murders 10 little girls, deserves a hell of a lot more than just dying himself. Too bad we couldn't do worse. If you're going to have sympathy, have it for the poor victims. Not scumbags that put themselves their.

  • I understand what your saying and respect your opinion, but think about this: you cannot beat evil by Doing e vil..

just like you can`t exstinguish fire by throwing wood into it.

  • It's not about "beating evil." Evil already did what evil does. This is called vindication, justice, payback. Our entire society is based on being rewarded for good deeds, and being punished for bad deeds. So we're suppose to just let people be killers, rapists, molesters?? It's called getting these sick fucks off the planet. When you decide to take someone's life, you instantly lose any mercy for yourself. Because if you truly deserve mercy, then you would have shown mercy to the victim.

  • Death penalty is like seperating the leaves from the root..it doesn`t solve the cause of why mdern society is rotten..

And death penalty has already proven to be ineffective in dealing with major crime..

I`m not saying serious criminals should not be punished,i`m just saying `think about the use of the punishment..and not to sweep their path clean, but many people were severely fucked up by others before they turned into murderers rapists terrorists etc..

  • at least I have a opinion mr no one..

  • Girl you are full of love

Therefor I love you despite I don`t know you well

    I wish you well.

  • So now it's no longer called, "double homicide" it is now called, "rebelling?"

  • The Supreme Court has lifted the LI stay and executions have resumed. Let's hope Kentucky gets into the act!

  • That's so sad. I feel so bad for him... Thanks Krissie! This video was really interesting! :]]

  • Interesting video..A friend I grew up with is on Death Row in Florida, and I also knew the victims of his crime. My memories of the friend I knew make me miss him, but I saw first hand the results that his crime had on the victims....a man is now gone and a wife lives alone heartbroken. There are times I feel so guilty because I still miss my friend and others think I should hate his guts, but yet...I don't hate him....I hate what he did!

  • You are a very friendly person and you have some kind of mission to make people aware of certain things. You are succeeding in.

  • Thank you Krissie!

  • well...that's what you get when you commit a crime. People must suffer the consequences of their actions, even if they do regret it...however, the system DOES need to work itself out more to be more "fair".

  • This is one of the most interesting videos I've watched in a while, I think you are doing awesome much needed work Krissie, GOod JOB!

I am curious though, some of the things he said or wrote come off to me as what he wants you to think about him, if you know what I mean; My question is do you believe in everything they say or do you question it to some degree because you know why they are in prison? I am not trying to condescend, I am truly fascinated by your project.

  • Hello,Krissie,

I wonder if you might ask the inmates,if, as their time goes by on death row, would they prefer life with no parole?

  • Honestly, most of the inmates I'm writing to are still appealing, trying to get a life sentence. One has had his sentenced reduced and is a lifer now, and most of the others are trying. So yes, I would say they would prefer a life sentence.

  • I have heard stories of a few who did continue appealing, but wantede the sentence carried out,as incarceration was worse in their minds.

I prefer Life. No chance for a mistake. Though,It would be in a cell, with food, and limited outside contact,as if they were dead.

  • This is why I subscribe to you. That is not something I would do simply because I do not relate. You make it interesting and your style is just straight up, which I appreciate.

    Keep it up Sweety.

    JF

  • This is so cool and touching. Thanks for doing such a unique thing. That guy is so talented with his crafty skills! I look forward to seeing more. I was ganna type more, but I watched the rest of the vid and forgot what it was.....dang.

  • sociopath's can be charming, intelligent people:) But really though I am totally against the death penalty mostly because of the negative message it sends, that this is who we are; we deal with certain offenders by killing them.

but we have to remember that this guy did something to be behind bars, though i do not believe he deserves to be murdered by "we the people" for it

he seems to have a high quality of life behind bars... he should stay there

  • wow that was awesome O.O it also makes you wonder because...he seemed like a well educated person...and it "sounded" as if he had good morals and everything. what could sombody do that is aweful enough to be condemned to death? i dont believe we should have the power to kill people if they do something bad, just put them away for life or something. But this was very cool<333

  • This is interesting and educational, Awesome video. =)

  • This is really something interesting. Hearing this makes me believe that this person can be reahabilitated. Killing him doesn't improve the world. Looking forward to more from you on this subject.

  • it is interesting. thank you :)

  • Very cool video. So often it seems that once people go to prison they are forgotten and written off by society. People seem to forget that behind the fences, behind the security guards, behind the bars, and behind the sometimes rugged exterior is a human being with a heart, a mind and a soul who has thoughts, hopes and dreams. I hope more of them decide to return the survey, as I look forward to hearing their responses.

  • they wouldnt be behind those bars if they had respected the thoughts hopes and dreams of their victims. Maybe someday when someone in your family is murdered you'll understand that

  • Or they had starving kids, had been turned down for hundreds of jobs and decided to rob a store so their family would survive when their idiot buddy pulls a gun and shoots the clerk.

Or they were told how much money their family could make just for driving a car packed with coke a couple states over.

Killing is only 1 thing we send people to prison for. A lot of people are there because they were desperate, not because they went looking for trouble. Theft/Drug crimes account for most inmates.

  • -cont.- And while I realize that these are death row inmates, who more than likely are guilty of a more heinous crime, there are some who were just plain desperate.

Also, it should be of note I have a lot of belief in a human's will to change. And to answer your question I WOULD want to see letters from someone who murdered a family member, maybe it would lead to an understanding of why they did it and how they got there. I think it would be an important part of the healing process.

  • Oh c'mon, there are ALOT of desperate broke people out there. I myself was living in my car with a 2 year old at one point. I didn't kill anyone, and neither do most people. I also have had a murder in my family, and I find it INSULTING that people stand in line to feel sorry for these criminals and give no second thought to the victims - the reason being that you get much more attention when you say you are writing to the guy on death row.

  • Exactly, A LOT of people run into hard times and a great super majority of them don't even think about committing crimes and harming others to better themselves. That kind of thinking, that crime is excusable due to hard times, is insulting to anyone who's ever lived legitimately through hard times. It's okay to have empathy for those incarcerated, but don't have sympathy for them.

  • Now that was interesting to watch. Clearly he sounds like an intellectual individual and its good to hear he does help out those less capable than him.

Would be interesting to hear the others when u get their letters and their permissions. Hope Mr Kentucy hangs in there (no pun intended by the way).
