Another way to get helicopter in this mission

1.Activate car drive on water and people follow you cheats

Get a car and sniper rifle and after mission starts,drive across the river to Shoreside where helicopter is.

3. For some reason,when you cross over,the helicopter stops and is on ground so go up to it and try to open door.It's locked but other people can get in.

4.Try to open door and one of the people following you will get in the passenger's seat.Shoot him in head and door will open.GET IN

I was trying to do this for ages with an ambulance. Practically screamed out loud. I was under the impression that it was next to impossible to jump onto a Yankee's roof. I don't know where I got that idea. Anyway, as a tip, it's a lot easier to just take out the other two targets as they arrive with some carefully thrown Molotov Cocktails. Gunning them down doesn't work well, but Molotovs make it a breeze.

He used the "Perfect Traction" cheat which makes cars make sharp turns easily and also jump. The helicopter is not locked in this level. Also the mission "Calm Before The Storm" has a hijackable helicopter when it lands on the roof in the red light district. To get that one, use a motorbike backwards up the stairs to avoid the corona that starts the next event.

Thanks, I used this method to get a helicopter although I did it with an ambulance. I saved as soon as I managed to cram it into the garage (pain in the ass to get it out too) and I hope I never have to beat that mission again.
